Checking in was quick and easy… and the front desk staff were very friendly. Our problem with this hotel is that when we got in bed and my wife and I both smelled poop. It wasn’t us or anything on us (we were both freshly showered and had no kids or pets… and we even checked the bottom of our shoes). But there was a poop smell in the room. We checked to see if it was sewage backing up in the bathroom, but the smell was clearly coming from the bed portion of the room. It wasn’t so gross that we wanted to get up and ask to change rooms, but it was enough that I wouldn’t spend the money again to stay at that hotel when there is a Fairfield (and other hotels) nearby.

In town for a brief conference. Many eating options nearby. Only 4 miles to reach a downtown eatery.
