Last minutes selection since I was not planning to spend the night, but decided to stay since it was getting too late to drive. Easy to book with Hotels.com. Check in was perfect.

The room had a stain on the ceiling, a light bulb missing from the bedroom lamp, the toilet flusher was broken, the room had a musty smell, and the breakfast was lacking. The egg omelettes were overcooked and dried out.

Don't plan for more than 4 to a room! Not a suite

I had already booked a room elsewhere but needed something for 5 people, so I looked using that requirement and found Hampton Inn in Pearl. I canceled the other hotel, which we had used before & liked because they couldn't accommodate 5 people. We checked into Hampton, and there didn't have anything for 5 people, just 2 queen beds. I asked about cots, and they said they couldn't use those because fire hazard. The first lady at the counter was rude, especially because we booked through hotels.com. The breakfast was good, and that attendant was nice. The 2nd front desk lady was sweet too. But we had to go get a sleeping bag from BassPro for the 2nd night because we were too cramped with 2 adults & a teen in one bed, and 2 other adults in the other bed. The first lady said another group had the same issue & blamed it on hotels.com. 😟 I've always booked through this site, and with this request, and this is the first issue we've had like that.
