Amenities were good. Pool and hot tub were great. Need more vending options but overall our stay was great!

Good--despite my mistake

A trip for my husband to meet up with classmates from years ago. He was pleased with the condition of the hotel; his only problems were related to his disabilities--no elevator and a 2nd floor room and a slippery tub instead of a walk-in shower. Probably my fault--I didn't reserve a handicapped room for him!

This particular hotel asked me to check in online and were there any special request. My special request was no stairs. We were running horribly behind on time as we had an appointment in another city and had had some trouble getting our rental car which delayed are arrival at the hotel. We should have been able to give our identification and gotten our room keys immediately since we were already checked in online. Not so. First the employee acted like she couldn't get on lying with her computer so she had to go filek a phone to use to get us booked in. Then she gave us a second floor room. We assumed there was an elevator but upon looking we could not find one. By this time we had been there 30 minutes and here we were still running late for our appointment. I went back to ask where the elevator was and she was on the phone and ignored me. Had to patiently wait till she got off at the phone to ask where the elevator was then was told there wasn't one. After another 10 minutes we finally got our downstairs room. It was awful smelling but pretty clean. Nice comfortable beds. Peaceful and one of the quietest hotels ever.

I stayed for two nights and the cleaning people did not clean our room for the second night properly. They just pulled the sheets up and that was it.
