Wonderful family getaway!! Enjoy our wrap around porch and view of the Greenbrier River with mountain views ! Very quiet setting for work or entertainment. We're 28 mins from Bluestone Lake, a great place to launch your boat. Lewisburg is 20 miles where you can enjoy family dining! Several trails and tours to enjoy only 25 mins from the retreat.We also accommodate weekly and monthly rates!!There is no river access!! River access is 5 miles from our home in Alderson wv! Great place
Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated.

Clean little getaway
Needed a place to stay while we attended the LIV Golf event. Communication was excellent with the owners. Place is very clean and well thought out. The road in and out to the property has some deep ruts in spots so be careful. Pretty quiet area for the most part with the occasional train. We would definitely stay again.

Alderson trip
House is cute and cozy. Shower/bath water smelt like sulfur but went away after being ran first day. Host were quick to respond and very helpful. It was about a 10minute drive to fed prison which was convenient for seeing a family member located there. There is a train across the river so that can be a little noisy. Greenbrier resort was beautiful, sandstone falls was pretty and swam in river.

Perfect little getaway house
Cute, clean and exactly what we needed. We needed a getaway from DC and this was just what we hoped for. Away from the city traffic and quiet. Sitting at the fire pit we looked up and could see stars, we don’t see them like that at home. Always makes me feel like “this is a place I could get used to.”

Lovely weekend getaway!
Everything was great about our stay. We were in town for the LIV golf tournament and found this property. The owners were super nice and easy to get a hold of. The house was very clean and homey. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here. Cool little restaurants in the area too!

We were disappointed no view of river & no path to walk to it. We loved sitting on back porch in the morning. The house was very clean & comfortable. A few suggestions, a nonslip bathtub mat, bedside light, exhaust fan in bathroom & a blow dryer. It would be a beautiful spot to stay in the fall.

Sweet home in quiet place.
From booking to leaving, our stay was fantastic. Comfy home with everything you could need. We especially enjoyed cooking our dinner on the grill outside. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Our mini vacation!
We enjoyed our trip. The place is cozy and clean. We had our dogs with us. it’s very pet friendly. There are distant neighbors but not close enough to be a problem. The hosts were very good with communication and left fliers and snacks out for us!
