Pendleton seems like a very nice town but we didn't have much time to look around. This motel was convenient and comfortable for our short stay.

Quick overnight stay parking was limited. Power went off in the middle of the night no back up system so at 7:30 am there was no hot water to take a shower. When spoke to the staff member st the desk her response was indifferent to the problem and said if I waited they would eventually have hot water.
