Thank you, David for letting me know you enjoyed your stay at Cedarwood Lodge. I hope you had a chance to explore some of the PA Wilds attractions - the elk herd and elk visitor's center, Parker Dam State Park and the Moshannan State Forest which partially surrounds the cabin.acreage. Although a short drive into Benezette the peaceful quiet of the area and Beauty of the cabin was All worth it. The pictures you see online are Exactly how it was. Delicious muffins/bread awaited us as well. Thanks again Peggy :) We look forward to next visit

Owner very good communication. The cabin fit our needs for site seeibg rhe area. It was secluded enough to get away and enjoy the view and quiet. We had a great time and would go back again.

Thank you for sharing your experience at Cedarwood Lodge. So good to know the cabin fit your needs and that you enjoyed hiking and sightseeing in the PA Wilds. Did you know the 12 counties of the PA Wilds have as much wilderness as Yellowstone National Park? It is amazing when you think that it is only a few hours drive from so many major east coast cities - NYC, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Baltimore and Toronto. Awesome place to stay! We loved the wood stove and baked goods that were left for us.

I am so happy you enjoyed your stay at Cedarwood Lodge. Sitting in the living room watching the fire with our kids when they were still living at home is a very fond memory. I'm glad you enjoyed the baked goods. We like to welcome guests with a loaf of homemade bread and muffins or coffee cake to share over a cup of coffee or tea (also provided) either upon arrival or at their first morning's breakfast.
