Monkey on a chain as a pet!
Publié le 22 janv. 2018 sur Hotels+: warm shower, Nice garden, Night market nearby, one off the islands harbours nearby
-: they keep a monkey on a 2 meter chain, just unacceptable!!
Staff is not helpful: don’t want to call a taxi for me, would not let a girl use the landline telephone for 5 minutes about her transport. Staff of the day does not communicate with the staff off the evening. In the evening I reserved a bike for the next day and gave my laundry. The staff of the next day knew nothing about this and so there was no bike for me. They also didn’t do my laundry. Laundry is expensive and Here they only wash, they don’t have a dryer. So forget about your glothes getting dry when there is no sun.
There is no locker or safe available

Enjoyed our stay
Publié le 2 sept. 2016 sur HotelsWe enjoyed our stay however the room did look slightly different than the pictures portrayed and could use a little more cleaning. The family who runs the place is very nice and helped us arrange a transport to Gili Air as well as show us places to see around the island. The food was good but a little expensive compared to other places.

Unsatisfactory service
Publié le 21 août 2016 sur Expedia
Pour : The tour they arranged, since my room was not at the main property, the owner gave me a ride on his motor bike in the dark night
Contre : The owners need to improve their professionalism, disappearing after accepting order for dinner and making the guest wait is unacceptable
Emplacement : Explore the beautiful island on a motor bike, a car or a tour the hotel organizes
I stayed for one night here. The hotel is located in a beautiful island, Nusa Penida, which I hope to visit in future, but I would check out other places before I select this one again. The hotel isn't inexpensive given that tourism is yet to pick up at Nusa Penida. Yet, the service is quite poor. First, I tried calling the hotel several times, before I arrived, to check a few basics about the island, eg, if I would get a taxi at the ferry, if not, if they can pick me up, whether the island has ATM, if not how much cash I would bring, the boat times etc. I couldn't connect in several attempts, neither could my driver. At the ferry station, I found that other hotels were providing pick up services. When I arrived at the hotel, the family running it did arrange a good day tour for me. This was the only positive part for my stay. They put me in a room that's 10-15 minutes walk from the main office and not in the same compound, saying it is nicer and has aircon. True, but it didn't have Wifi, which was only available at the main office. The property description in Expedia promised availability of Wifi. Also if one needs anything he would have to walk 15 minute to contact the owners (no staff member present at the property which had the rooms I were put up in). There was no towel in the room. Worst was the service when I ordered dinner, the lady of the family disappeared after taking my order, after some time her husband just informed me that kitchen was closed !

Publié le 18 avr. 2016 sur HotelsVery nice bungalows, good location for exploring the island. Artem who runs the place is a cool guy, he'll tell you everything you need to know.

Hotel Manager Artem was welcoming and took the time to describe the best things to see and do on Nusa Penida island during a 3-day visit. His advice was helpful in planning the tour of the island. The hotel guard dog, Feebi, and the hotel monkey, Joe, made the visit a lot of fun.
