Great to be back!
We stayed at this house 3 years ago and enjoyed it just as much this time! It’s close to Main St in Penn Yan which has shops, restaurants, and local coffee spots. It’s easy to get to the water and hiking trails. The house is clean and spacious! You must be able to handle stairs. The yard is fenced and great for my dog! And the owner is easy to contact and communicate with! Definitely recommend!

Great place in the city area of Penn Yan. It does lean a lot in the back of the building, so be aware of that in the back bedroom. Very clean and more space than my son and I needed. But, enjoyed all the room.

We wanted a get away for New Years this year and this was the perfect spot! Very clean and roomy & there were a lot of other kitchen / coffee supplies than anticipated which was great and the host left a beautiful bottle of wine-very nice touch!

Very clean, quiet neighborhood. Fenced yard which is nice for smaller dogs, but a little low (3 foot in sections) for our larger pup. House was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs was warm at night despite the AC so maybe pack a fan. Walkable to town for dinner, breakfast and shopping. Convenient location to wineries, breweries and distilleries. It was nice to be able to travel with our (well behaved) dog! Would absolutely stay here again.

Early spring getaway
Excellent location to walk downtown and access wineries on both Keuka and Seneca lakes. Older home, but very clean and friendly for our granddog. Highly recommend, especially when it’s too cold to be on the lake.

Great place to relax with family and friends! House was clean, warm, and had plenty of room for 4 adults to cook, chat, and relax. Short walk to downtown offering antique and artisan shops, coffee, wine bar, and restaurants (from pizza and Chinese to finer dining). Nice long weekend for our vaccinated group! Would to this again!

Home away from home!
The Penn Yan property was perfect for our group and we would definitely stay there again. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We were able to bring our dog who enjoyed the fenced-in yard. It’s centrally located and the host was extremely responsive to any questions and also provided great recommendations for the area. We were able to visit several wineries and hiking trails with waterfalls within close driving distances. We were also within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It was our first time to the Finger Lakes area and hope to visit again soon!

Perfect in every way!
Stayed at the Penn Yan house with my husband, mom and dog for a lovely getaway in the Finger Lakes and really enjoyed everything about the house. Super clean (example - we usually wash all dishes the moment we arrive at a rental and here we did not feel the need to do that). So thoughtfully appointed (my husband forgot his toothbrush and the owners had amazingly supplied extras!). Cozy and comfortable (beds, sofas, dining tables, everything). We absolutely loved the yard and enjoyed sitting outside with some of the wine we brought back from our wine tastings, and we also loved that the yard was fully fenced so our dog could not chase after the neighborhood cats. The house is walking distance to shops and restaurants, and has easy access to trails and wineries. Oh and thank you for the welcome riesling which was delightful on our first night at the house! We could not have asked for more pleasant lodgings.
