Avis Brookside Cottage - 3 bedroom cottage, dog friendly, with lovely views

Brookside Cottage was a great place to stay, wonderful location, very clean and spacious, all the amenities of home.

House was the perfect size for us. Beds comfy, shower amazing, lots of seating and relaxing spaces. We spent a fair bit of time each evening in the living room and kitchen (good size and well equipped) and it was great. The dog loved it too.. We did a few walks around Eden valley from the house, but you can also drive to Ullswater/Helvellyn in about 40 mins. My only minor comment is that renters should bring absolutely everything they need for cooking and meals, including seasoning and oil etc. There are no local shops. We did have plenty of utensils, pans, cleaning products however. We got a Sainsburys delivery too.
