Lovely stay
Publié le 2 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed staying at this property. We went to a wedding up the road and used the house as a base for walking locally and in the Lake District. If you would like to eat at the butchers arms, we recommend making a booking for dinner- we missed out. The greyhound in shap was excellent though.

Getaway from it all
Publié le 1 août 2022 sur HomeAwayHouse was the perfect size for us. Beds comfy, shower amazing, lots of seating and relaxing spaces. We spent a fair bit of time each evening in the living room and kitchen (good size and well equipped) and it was great. The dog loved it too..
We did a few walks around Eden valley from the house, but you can also drive to Ullswater/Helvellyn in about 40 mins.
My only minor comment is that renters should bring absolutely everything they need for cooking and meals, including seasoning and oil etc. There are no local shops. We did have plenty of utensils, pans, cleaning products however.
We got a Sainsburys delivery too.
