Rip-off merchants. I book a day later than I intended, realised immediately and tried via Expedia and the Hotel to get it moved to the right day or refunded. Both refused to do anything. I’m now about to sue them for breaches of the Trade Descriptions act, Sale of Goods and Services Act and the Internet Trading Act.

Good Morning, I would like to firstly say, we do not rip our customers or residents off, We have the advance purchase rates up along with the terms and conditions of booking, these in which you have to agree with before you even confirm your booking. Your mistake is not our fault and we as a company still get billed and have to pay for that. The booking takes you through multiple stages where you can see your booking dates ect but we have this policy across the board in which all customers are aware off before booking this rate. I have read the past emails and we have even tried to help you out and come to an agreement but we never heard anything back of you! you was made aware of the options you had and we was willing to work with you and try to accommodate your needs as to not let you down. I would like to say that i have also read the trade descriptions act and nothing we have done or stated in our policy is false or misleading in any way, it all clearly states that the advance Purchase rate is no refundable or transferable again which you as a customer would of had to agree to before confirming your booking. I am more happy to send you over our policy in which you can look over yourself. But as a company i would like to say we are following everything correctly.

Great pub, great hotel, great location.

Great hotel, rooms very clean and we got a bottle of water, biscuits, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. We had room 7 and this had an iron and ironing board. It was hot when we went, there is no air con so a large fan was provided. A small amount of cars, about 10 spaces are available at the front of the hotel but they are always taken. A public car park was within 50m of the hotel and charged £8.50 for 24 hours. Hotel bar and restaurants are lovely. It has rear terraces over 3 floors that overlook the river and Pooley Bridge. The weather was fab and the tables were very popular due to the smartness and location. Pub is dog friendly and although lots of people do bring dogs to Pooley Bridge and the Crown, all were friendly safe dogs and on leads. We could always get served even at busy times. They have QR codes on each table so they can bring online orders direct to you. You get what you pay for and it was worth it.

Great family, pet friendly hotel

Overall accommendation and breakfast was fab, however dinner service was lacking, it wasnt that busy but would have been nice for a more personal touch for table service. Otherwise really nice place

Good location but slow service

Good location, comfy bed but slow service and no consistency in the quality of food served at breakfast. Sat in the residents lounge but no one took our order. We were ignored by staff. Brought all of the above up at check out and the lady behind the bar simply said "oh". No apology for poor service offered. Left feeling short-changed considering what we paid
