Comfortable, good food, great service
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HotelsComfortable and good food with quick service. Plenty of sockets in the room, in useful places, which is great when travelling for business and having work to do. There wasn't a desk as it was a small single room, but there was a socket, with USB charger on the wall by the bed and a cushion to use, so working sitting on the bed was comfortable and convenient.

Anniversary Escape
Publié le 31 janv. 2023 sur HotelsLovely quiet break for our 40th Anniversary. The hotel was superb, nicely appointed room with views over the village green. The highlight however was the superb food, a deceptively simple menu made with quality fresh local ingredients and executed with flair and panache. Even the side salads were exceptional !!! Our hosts were very welcoming, attentive without being intrusive and their wee gem of an establishment well worth a visit either staying or for a lovely meal or preferably both.

Our room was a bit small but fine for a one-night stay. Shared bathroom but not problematic. Good pint in the bar. Very good breakfast - superb black pudding!
