Ended up spending around $400 more on my vacation for last minute hotels and cleaning my belongings at the laundromat. I have tried to contact VRBO for a reimbursement but i have been ignored for weeks

Not what we expected
Publié le 14 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt would have been nice to have soap, shampoo, conditioner, and coffee provided. It just wasn't as comfortable as we were expecting. It was clean and in a good location to downtown though.

Perfect place to stay. Easy to get around. Did have an issue and the response from owner was great. Would stay here again

Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayAge does not make a home historic. The floors are more than just a little unlevel. In areas you feel a like you are on a boat. The bath room is thrown together with the mirror so low you have to sit on a stool to shave or put on make-up. You have to sit sideways on the toilet due to a knee-wall beside the sink. The mattresses are not good quality. The living room television was not set to dsiplay the Roku screen like it should. Everything just feels cheap like an apartment for college kids. READ the description very carefully. It was clean even though it didn't feel that way.

Great location, clean property

Unlike what the description suggested, you couldn't really hear the other renters, it was nice and quiet. House is in very good shape. For an exceptionally good coffee, go across the street to the coffee shop in the library.

Publié le 16 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayOverall, my best friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Great location to get to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, farmer’s market, etc. I’d rate the apartment itself as a 4/5!!
The reason I give it 3/5 overall is because of safety. The front porch light did not work and thus, left the entry completely dark and felt unsafe. There was also poor security lighting in the parking in the back. And the motion sensing lights for the driveway took a lot to trigger the sensor. As two young women staying there, I wish it had felt more secure.

It was a cute little place. Very old with history. I’ll start with the positives, it was clean, had great lighting, the kitchen was well stocked, quite & cozy. The negative was we stayed 7 full days and only got a total of 10 towels, so we had to reuse a lot. I don’t know about y’all, but after swimming in the ocean everyday, you want another shower before getting in bed. So that was aggravating! Could have had more than 1 trash bag for a weeks stay. I ended up going & buying detergent & washing towels/wash rags myself. I’ve never stayed anywhere but a hotel until now, so not being able to buzz up fresh towels was my biggest thing. 3 star!
