Not so great

Ms. Burnett was unusual from the start. She reserved with the notice that she had to have early access on the day of arrival or she would cancel, which I agreed to arrange. A few days before arrival, she said she bought 3rd party cancellation insurance, indicating she planned to cancel because it was about an hour from her destination. I advised her to look into the terms of the 3rd party cancellation insurance to see if it would apply, should she cancel. It apparently would not. On the day of arrival, she told me she would be leaving early after 2 nights of the 4 night reservation. After staying 1 night & apparently closing on the purchase of a home about an hour away, they checked out. She called to say they checked out & complained the TV in the master did not work & the bed was hard. Since they vacated the property, we went in & checked on the TV. It just needed to be unplugged & plugged back in, which we could have advised, if they had called. In other words, it seems like she reserved our property, not realizing it was about one hour from the area they intended to be. Apparently she tried to cancel with the 3rd party insurance & was denied due to their conditions for refunds. When checking-in she indicated they were buying a home & that she would be checking-out 2 days early. We had no disagreements or words...I do not recommend this guest to other hosts. because she decided to give an unjustified, bad review.

Comfortable house beautiful neighborhood
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The spiral staircase was a challenge, but a fun one. The kitchen was very well stocked and the backyard space was nice. It’s across the street from a little park and one night while we were there a concert was taking place there. We sat out back and enjoyed it very much.

Publié le 4 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI loved the nice furniture, tall ceilings, and the neighborhood. It was an easy travel to the public beach. It was well stocked with disposable products like toilet paper, paper towels etc… The Parking was a bit of an issue because we had two vehicles. We had to move our vehicle twice and had to park on a small patch of grass beside that other house.

This is a great place! Very modern, homey, accommodating. The main floor contains entry way, living area, great kitchen and dining room. Also there is the master bedroom with master bath. All extremely well done. There is also another full bath on the main floor. Upstairs is a lift with one or two beds - can’t remember. Nice backyard with tables and chairs and lights. Definitely would recommend. Thx. Tim.
