Okanogan Mountain Retreat
Publié le 7 août 2022 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely a beautiful spot to enjoy another jewel in the Okanogan Valley. Cool fresh mountain air in the morning and one with nature every day. Quiet and private, which brings a peaceful sense of joy.

Great location
Publié le 24 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayFamily had a great stay. Place was as described and had everything we needed to cook simple meals (hot plate, pots etc). Short walk to skating loop and skiing.

Brenda was a wonderful respectful guest, and kept the place clean.
We would love to host her and her family again.

Three night stay
Publié le 14 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayGreat stay. Two of us visiting for a race weekend. Fully met our expectations. Good location, small but very efficient use if space. Kitchen amenities were quite decent for the size of kitchen. Yes, the ladder is steep. Good communication and a very easy experience.

Quite small, very rustic
Publié le 25 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayGreat location. The kids enjoyed the stay but we were surprised to find the unit lacked a stove, or oven, had an old school tv and had bar fridges rather than regular apartment type appliances. It’s 300 square feet over two levels so quite tight for more than a couple. Really a rustic hotel room when we’d expected more of a small apartment and all that goes with it. Great I think if you know what you’re getting into.

I did have communication with Craig after his stay and heard his disappointment , he did admit that he booked in a hurry and maybe did not read the write up fully ,I never want to over sell a property and always want the guest to know what they are booking , we did take a look at what the write up says and did find a error on the smart tv and corrected it .
We always appreciate feed back and are always looking to approve .
Warmest regards,
Michelle

Snuggle Inn
Publié le 22 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayA small but very cute and cozy place to stay at Apex. Loft had lots of space for 3 plus a comfortable pullout bed in the living room. There is not a lot of extra space but it was all our family of 4 needed for the week, and also has a great ski storage area. It was just a short walk to the base of the mountain and the owners were always very quick to respond to questions.

Effort would have made this a lot better
Publié le 25 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayI believe we were their first guests? The listing photos show a washer/dryer in the condo which is no longer there. (Disappointed to find that out) They also listed a "Free Breakfast" which we did not receive. Before arrival we received several messages asking us to let them know our arrival time - cleaning crew and picking up key were discussed - they changed their mind and gave us the code to the lock box on the door (seemed like their was some confusion there. ) The unit is small but cute and cozy. We liked the fairy lights strung in the kitchen. There is a small kitchen with a single sink and two mini refrigerators. There is a microwave, mini drip coffee maker, tea kettle, hot plate, and toaster. There were pots, pans, cutlery, dishes all in good shape and clean.
There is a STEEP rather slippery wooden ladder going up to the loft bedroom. I tried once going up and down the ladder but I bumped my head on the opening. The queen bed on the loft had a hard mattress. I would not recommend staying here if you have a fear of heights/ or are uncomfortable going up and down steep ladders. We slept on the pull out sofa on the main floor. For a tiny room there is a lot of furniture. We had to move a heavy chest, a wicker chest, a rocking chair, a wooden chair and a large stand up fan that did not work out of the way to pull out the bed. When we pulled out the bed there were crumbs on the mattress and cardboard behind the sofa - you can see the floor had not been vacuumed - there was food and other debris under the sofa. We had to search for the linens for the pull out bed. We found sheets but not a comforter/duvet. There were some throw blankets in the wicker chest (old/used looking.) The TV and Wifi work well - no local channels - only Youtube/Netflix. (I would recommend that they do not use their personal Netflix accounts.) The bathroom had lots of hot water/shower worked well. There were areas above the shower that had either spider webs or hair hanging on the wall. ( I would recommend changing the location of the towel rack as it is hanging too close to your toilet.)I would also put the safety mat out rather than put it under your sink only found it on the last day. There was no garbage/recycling cans outside for trash? Please remove/fix the rugs as I stubbed my foot several times. I would recommend removing personal photos/items/expired food and knick knacks for a less cluttered rental. I am sure with some effort/prep this can be a cute rental!
