Perfect location

Wonder apartment

Perfect location and fabulous views!
Posted May 23, 2024 on HomeAwayThe Sunrise Apartment PZ was clean, spacious, modern, and had the most incredible ocean views. Because we did not have a car, we also greatly appreciated its location, just a 5 minute walk from the Penzance train/bus stations and a few blocks from local grocery stores. Communication with the host was excellent and he returned emails very quickly. The little extras like “starter” coffee/tea supplies were nice touches and the washer/dryer was so convenient to do laundry before the next leg of our journey. We slept in the upstairs bedroom and found it to be comfy with good pillows. The apartment was a wonderful home base for our week in Cornwall!

Perfect base for exploring Penzance and surrounding area, particularly if not driving.

Lack of finesse
Posted Oct. 5, 2020 on HomeAwayThe property was clean and tidy had all the facilities but was lacking in the following areas-
The road traffic was extremely noisy and constant.... prevented us from wanting to sit out on the balcony even in beautiful weather.
There was no blind in the top bedroom window.
Neither was there a blind in the bathroom.
Tiny kitchen and needed to use a step to get to the freezer. The cutlery was like picnic cutlery really cheap and only 2 teaspoons! The freezer needed defrosting.
Towel rails didn’t work.
When we had the bedroom window open in the room overlooking the courtyard the smoke came up from the people smoking in the flat below.

We are sorry to hear we didn't live up to your expectations. We have instructed housekeeping to keep check on issues under their control such as missing (taken) cutlery, frozen up freezer etc and have looked into other issues and made our judgements on the things you highlight. Unfortunately there are certain things you highlight that are out of our control or are the best solutions for providing facilities when space is limited but we thank you for your opinions.

Family Staycation
Posted Sep. 2, 2020 on HomeAwayWe had a lovely time in Cornwall it was our first time going. We managed to get to a few beaches so was a perfect location to get about. The place was lovely and spacious for us. We got parked in the next road along so didnt have to pay for parking which is always a bonus. Thank you again. We loved every minute.

A wonderful staycation in Cornwall
Posted Aug. 30, 2020 on HomeAwayMy family really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. The beautiful view of St Michaels Mount greets us every morning. The apartment is fully equipped with modern amenities . There were a few hiccups on the first 2 days but owner resolved the problems promptly. Communication with owner was excellent. We hope to visit again!

The apartment was lovely , home from home.

Thank you. Yes we normally find a space easily too. Sometimes we also go by train if we fancy a car free break. Being so close to the station makes that a breeze!
