The Space:
By booking this property (known as "Residence"), you will enjoy two adjoining homes in one: the 5-bedroom "Beach House" and the 2-bedroom "Town House".
- Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
In the Beach House, you have a master bedroom with direct views of the ocean on the mezzanine floor. This master contains a brand-new, hotel-grade electric fireplace. Next to the master, there is a large mezzanine living room with a king-size bed, a king-size day bed, and a comfortable bed plus a games area with giant jenga. The mezzanine floor also has a master bathroom with a bath and stunning views.
On the ground floor of Beach House there are three bedrooms. One room has a queen bed, the second has two king-single beds, and the third contains bunk beds with an additional single bed (perfect for children). There is also another bathroom with separate toilet downstairs.
In the Town House, you also have a massive mezzanine master bedroom with direct sea views. This room contains two queen beds and a comfortable sofa bed, and is accessed via the spiral staircase.
On the ground level of Town House, there is another bedroom with a queen bed and direct access to the backyard. The bathroom also contains a jet power spa-bath.
- Kitchens, outdoor and other facilities:
Both Beach House and Town House each have kitchens that are fully equipped with nespresso machines (four complimentary pods provided per machine), microwaves, kettles, ovens, dishwashers, etc.
The WiFi throughout the entire Residence is fast, and the televisions are both loaded with international "pay-TV" television and streaming services. Beach House has a 65-Inch Samsung The Frame TV.
Both open-plan lounge rooms are wrapped by sliding doors and huge windows to maximise the sea view. Depending on the season, you will enjoy the indoor fire place (there are two) and/or the outdoor patio. The outdoor patio dining area contains a two BBQs, a separate BBQ cooker (which can double as a firepit), a pizza oven, two outdoor dining sets (seating 12) and a private wooden gazebo with extra seating.
The laundry contains two washing machines, a dryer, and a wheeled eski and foldable chairs to take to the beach.
There is a door next to both fire places from which you can access the laundry facilities. This is the point at which the Beach House and Town House adjoin. If you wish, you can lock the doors between the properties for additional privacy amongst your guests.
If you do not require the full Residence, you may wish to also book only the Beach House property. You can find Beach House under our other listings.
Access and House Policies:
Noise:
Shire-enforced quiet hours apply after 11pm (10pm on weekdays). This essentially means that no yelling or music should be heard from outside of the property. Peppy Beach is a quiet, seaside town and the noise travels directly to our neighbours, so we ask that you be considerate of them. These quiet hours are strictly enforced and we have a noise monitor installed. If this policy causes any concern we suggest you consider other options.
We also do not permit parties. Any evidence of excessive noise or a party will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of any unused rental nights, and loss of your security deposit. Only the guests counted in your booking may stay on the property (i.e., no sleeping in vehicles, tents, on the floor, etc.)
Parking:
Please note that due to Shire restrictions we can only offer parking for a maximum of six cars per stay. We suggest that your group carpools as much as possible or, if you must bring more than six cars, please use the nearby parking at the beach. All parking must be on our property and no cars may park on the sidewalk / verge.
Pets:
We are dog friendly and charge a one-time $80 pet fee for the entire stay regardless of the number of dogs.
Smoking:
Strictly no smoking indoors which includes vapes, shisha, hookah and cigars. You may smoke outside but must do so two metres away from the doors. Any smoke inside will result in deordorising and cleaning costs.
Damages:
Accidents happen, so please report any damage as soon as possible.
In the event that any unreasonable / excessive cleaning is required, we charge this at $50 per hour and it will be deducted from your security deposit.
