Lovely hotel. Very comfortable, largel room tastefully decorated with good amenities (Bvgari). Gorgeous spa area with hamam and gym. Great location right in the middle of Perast on the sea. If the road is open ( closed during high season) do not drive in as it is extremely tight two way traffic. Staff will get you and your bags from the parking area some distance away

When I was looking to book this property,I read some guests mentioning the smell of the sewage outside by the pool. I decided to book a garden view and just avoid the outside area with the smell.When I got to the hotel,I was surprised they had upgraded me to the Seaview room which was more expensive and I had not asked for it.That made me wonder!I got to my room and smelled sewage and garbage smell inside my room,Not outside. By next day I complained and all the management did was to spray my room with air freshner.I complained the next day since the strong smell kept me up whole through out the night.The management never got back to me and when I involved the expedia,They refused to give any compensations.They have charged me premium amount for a motel 6 room class.They also had weddings every day through out my stay and we were not allowed to use their beautiful court yard so the wedding guests could enjoy it.The music was so load at nights because of the weddings.Looking back I realized why they upgraded me so they could give the non smelling rooms to the wedding guests!( It was not a favor to me).I finally had to involve Amex to resolve this issue.

This is THE place to stay in Perast, excellent hotel and facilities with calm atmosphere. Spacious well equipped rooms and friendly service. The only constructive criticism I would give is the lack of communication when it comes to the service. Asking three or four times for simple things to be done seemed misplaced for a 5 star hotel. This aside, fully recommend for a relaxing location with amazing beautiful surroundings.

Oh what can I say apart from go go go to this hotel! Absolutely beautiful hotel run by smazing management and staff. From the monent you arrive by buggy pick up you are treated like royalty! Loved everything, there is something v magical about this hotel and Perast. We will definitely return.

Whilst the Grand Heritage hotel in Perast is beautiful architecturally, situated in a perfect location in a very pretty town, with the exceptionally friendly and professional staff, a major issue exists with its sanitation system. So much so, it completely spoilt our holiday! A constant strong stench of raw sewage hovered over every waterside hotel, restaurant, bar, terrace and beach. There was no warning of this issue anywhere, so when we initially arrived we swam in the sea directly in front of our hotel and a couple of days later, all of my family ended up bed ridden with sickness and diarrhea for a few days. It completely ruined our holiday. We paid a considerable price for this 5* hotel, I would strongly advise people to consider this problem prior to booking. We spoke to a lot of guests during our stay and the same topic kept arising. Considering this area has been listed as a World Heritage destination, the sewage is damaging and dangerous to both humans and wildlife alike. This hazard needs to be addressed ASAP and funding needs to be implemented by both hotels and Government bodies. It’s an huge environmental health hazard. Saying that, the hotel inside was spotless and our the cleaning staff were amazing. Food was mediocre, not a true reflection of a 5* hotel. As a family we have travelled extensively and have stayed in some amazing locations and resorts, in our view this place could be ‘amazing’ if the sewerage issue could be addressed!

The Heritage Grand Hotel in Perast is a stunning property with breathtaking views and beautifully appointed rooms, making it a visually impressive 5-star experience. The accommodations were luxurious, and the food was generally good, offering a satisfying culinary experience. However, several issues marred our stay. The service, especially poolside, was a significant letdown. With an inadequate number of chairs, guests often had to compete for seating. Worse, the poolside service was painfully slow, with wait times for drinks and food stretching up to two hours. While some staff were wonderful and went the extra mile such as Andjela and Sjardan, many seemed inexperienced, detracting from the overall experience. The hotel felt overcrowded, making it difficult for staff to meet the high demand. This is a management issue that should be addressed, especially given the premium prices charged. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was disruptive, with a condenser pump turning on every 45 seconds, which could have been placed outside the room to avoid the additional noise. Lastly, and out of the hotel's control, a foul smell from the bay at times added to the discomfort. While the hotel’s location and facilities are outstanding, the service and operational flaws prevent me from rating it 5 stars. Overall, I'd give the Heritage Grand Hotel a small 4 stars, and would highly recommend visiting them outside the peak season to avoid these issues.
