Enjoyable Chesapeake Stay
Publié le 18 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayCute, up-to-date house, peaceful location, beautiful views. Well supplied kitchen, including sharp knives! Excellent communication with owner – prompt and helpful. Fast internet. Could use more bathroom surface areas; a few more hooks to hang clothes and towels; and an additional umbrella or two outside for shade. My mom, sister, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Family Mini Vacation

The water view was beautiful and just sitting out and enjoying the water from the deck, the kids were in the water our entire stay or fishing off the pier. We definitely will be booking again!

What Hurricane? This place is great!
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis place is absolutely beautiful, both the house and the scenery. We had the unfortunate timing of being there during a hurricane, but it didn't matter. The house was spotless upon arrival, everything was very comfortable and fully stocked to anyone's needs. We were only 2 adults and 1 child but this house could fit many more easily. The surrounding area has some nice restaurants. The nice days we did have we spent catching loads and loads of fish and crabs from the dock. The neighbors were super kind, one even helped filet our catch so we could have it for dinner that night! We'll definitely be regulars here for the comfort, scenery, and relaxation.

Family Wedding Weekend

I knew this going in, just should have thought this through with 4 ladies in the group! Owner was great! Very responsive.

Peaceful Getaway

Matt was very quick to answer our questions. We ate at some of the places that Matt recommended, and we were so impressed! We will definitely be back in the future.

Great Stay, Even in terrible weather

We were pleasantly surprised by all of the local dining options. Despite terrible weather that we experienced, we made the best of our trip and had a great time.

A relaxing getaway

Gorgeous water views, TVs in every room, a nice kitchen, and washer/dryer - what more could you ask for?
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Wonderful Cottage with a 5-Star View
Publié le 25 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis home was a true gem for an empty-nest couple (and dog) taking an autumn getaway in the "top of the Chesapeake" region. The sunrises from the deck or front windows are even better than the listing photo suggests! It's everything the other positive reviews highlight -- clean, comfortable, good communication, easy check-in. A very walkable (and friendly) little neighborhood and an easy drive to restaurants and shops in North East or Havre de Grace, Perryville Park, and Elk Neck State Park. Highly recommended.

Great Getaway
Publié le 12 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at Matt’s home. Very comfortable with everything you could ask for! Quiet, relaxing and close enough to towns if you want to go explore.
We went to a few of the restaurants that Matt suggested and they did not disappoint.
We are already talking about the next time we can get back there.
