The breakfast was as cold as my shower!
A number of elements and quirks with this hotel can be lightheartedly overlooked (eg decor). However charging £120/night comes with a few basic expectations that were missed, so this hotel either needs to charge proportionally for what’s on offer or put some of that cash into renovations.
My room (204) sadly had no hot water and staff admitted it a known and ongoing issue. Use of another room’s bathroom was appreciated, but surely resolve the ongoing water issue or don’t rent the room out. The mattress was beat up, room carried a funny smell, bathroom well worn, but bearable for 1 night. What you read in less favouravle reviews is pretty accurate
Vast majority of cooked items on the buffet breakfast were cold at 08:00.
If still £120/night when you read this, .definitely book elsewhere in town for the same cash
