Room could do with updating

Room was not checked properly when previous guests left as we noticed the smoke alarm was covered with a shower cap when we walked in to the room. Reported to reception, but we did not feel comfortable removing it ourselves. Reception did ask if we were comfortable staying in the room but did not offer to send anyone up to remove it.

Bathroom layout is terrible in the room we had, toilet is so close to the shower you can't sit on it straight, you have to side on a 45 degree angle
