Our stay was very enjoyable the pool was very welcoming on a hot day Carmen the owner was lovely and very accommodating she was a pleasure to meet and I would recommend the Spanish lodge to everyone who loves pets as we had a small dog that Carmen welcomed superbly.

These two ladies brought sunshine into the property. I was impressed with their cleanliness. They were also very organised.They would be welcome anywhere. I was lucky to have met them. All the best, Carmen

I enjoyed staying there the landlady was very nice and extremely friendly and the people staying in the house they were also nice and friendly to would definitely stay there again

Christine DID NOT stayed at the property. All guests are encouraged to read and view ALL photos to become acquainted with the lodgings offered. This avoids making assumptions or expectations that most often are wrong. Apparently the guest expected a Hotel/Motel set up which this one is not. She shouldn't be entitled to write a Review.

I am from Melbourne and stayed for 5 days. I received a warm, friendly welcome to an excellent accommodation. During my stay I suffered unexpected personnel difficulties due to work. Although in no way responsible, the House Manager provided invaluable support and assistance through my issues. 5 Stars is not high enough. Thank you.

This property is not what it’s made out to be. It is a small residential house with each small bedroom rented separately. The amenities are shared which is contrary to what is written in the property description.
My bed had a single sheet on the mattress & a covered doona on top. When I opened the doona I could see lots of bits and pieces of dirt etc on the sheet, like someone had walked through the garden and gotten in the bed with dirty feet.
The accommodation did not meet my expectations for the price I paid. I was extremely disappointed and removed myself from the premises at my earliest opportunity, as it seems did the other guests who woke me at 6am in their haste to leave…

Nick B. You did not book a room with a Private Bathroom otherwise you would have been given one. I dispute your comment about the bedding. Other guests at the time left early because they were booked in a group to go to Rottnest Island. It's wrong to make assumptions.One has only to read to great many wonderful reviews on this and other Sites to question the accuracy of your review. All the best to you.

The host was nice friendly and the shower, bed, bedroom were wonderful clean and tidy place

Arriving super late after a cancelled flight, it was wonderful to be so welcomed at the front door. The room was comfortable with heating and it’s own ensuite. After a restful night I awoke to my choice of light breakfast & a friendly chat with the host.
