So much more than expected!
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed in the Holly and Matt Suite a beautifully restored octagon building with up and downstairs. Both bedrooms were charming, and there was a screened in upstairs porch where we listened to crickets and songbirds while sipping wine (or morning coffee). We loved every minute of our relaxing, lovely stay. We’ll definitely come back.

Great add on in addition to the house
Publié le 2 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe needed a bit extra space in addition to renting the main house and the Holly & Matt Suite was perfect. Even on its own it is such a great space with a coffee maker in the room and the upstairs porch to enjoy your morning coffee on. We would gladly come back here and rent the Holly & Matt Suite again.

Quaint and quiet!

Perfect cosy and delightful hideaway at Three Pines Petersburg

We loved staying at the Octagon house at Three Pines which is set in a peaceful secluded location surrounded by trees and gardens on the outskirts of Petersburg . This is a really special property ……. a place to chill and nest into with all you need for a stress free stay , tastefully furnished , comfortable beds , balcony separate shower room and bathroom . We enjoyed the easy access to Lincolns New Salem and Springfield with all the wonderful associated Abraham Lincoln historical monuments and the fabulous Dana- Thomas house . Becca the host is very friendly and was on hand and replied immediately to any questions and we had, my husband and I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Octagon House as a super place to stay .
