Same as every other quality inn in VA. Outdated, bugs, stains, bathrooms so small the doors hit the toilets, exposed outlets, you name it

Arrived and was given two keys that didn’t work. Walked back to the office. Desk clerk told me we had to do something with the handle when tapping the lock. After 5 minutes of struggling with it, my wife figured out how to open the door. Walked in and the heat wouldn’t turn on. Walked back to the office. Replacement desk clerk flipped a switch and said everything was fine. Apparently, the first clerk wasn’t aware of the switch. Next morning, showed up for our free breakfast. Door was locked. Desk clerk said he had to step away so he had to “lock down” the building “for awhile.” So, no free breakfast.

Overall the hotel was ok. We had to get our key cards reprogrammed every day. On the first morning I tried their make your own waffles and they tasted like spoiled milk. I did not try them again. Staff was courteous and friendly.

The room is close to a bar where there was music for a good part of the night preventing us from sleeping moreover the air conditioning in the neighboring room was defective and made an infernal noise all night avoid this place if you want to have a good night

Dirty, hairy bathroom
The bathroom was filthy. There was hair and scum and dirt everywhere. Marsha tried her best by offering us another room (that was worse than the first. We ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves after Marsha gave us supplies and she discounted the room by $25. After driving all day, we were looking forward to resting in a nice clean room.

Nope! No!!!
No idea where to begin. Could’ve been the car in the parking lot up in wooden blocks and tires missing. The room that was good awful dirty and smelly. We would’ve need a tetanus shot to take a shower here! The faucets and shower head are all rust. The tub is peeling its layer off. Poop smeared on the wall next to the toilet. People next door playing music all night. Couple fighting outside our door. Garbage everywhere. Even with my alarm on, I kept checking to make sure my car was still there. We were exhausted from traveling otherwise we would’ve left. Laid on our own blankets from our car. Bed was bug free at least (stripped it and checked). Left the lights on incase there was roaches…. Thank god the front desk lady was super sweet when we checked in. Though it was through a bankers window. Should’ve known that was a bad sign…. Will never ever stay again.

The overall experience was horrible. The room was nasty, the ceiling had visible black mold, the carpet smelled wet and like urine. The shower and tub wasnt clean and the shower head and knobs were rusted really bad. We stayed on the first floor of the restaurant side. This is by far the worse hotel experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend this hotel. If it would let me upload my photos i would.

The room was clean. Way better than expected. The only issue we had was with the door. The key card worked but the door was jammed. Staff was very prompt in helping with this situation and even offered us another room. That was not needed since we were staying for one night. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
