This area features a bike rack, picnic table, a small grassy space, and a sandy beach, all maintained by the township. While you won’t need to cross private land to access this beach, please avoid trespassing on either side, as those areas are private. The bottom consists of a 12 to 18" layer of sand over a clay base. In spring, shifting ice can sometimes uncover the clay, which becomes soft enough to be dug up by hand, though this doesn’t occur every year

Everything you hoped for!
These little cabins are clean and comfortable, and very conveniently located. 5 minutes from Charlevoix without the traffic and tourists, with a small beach just steps away. The landlord is a great guy who goes out of his way to make sure your stay is everything you hoped it would be. Book it!

We were looking for a small getaway from home and this worked out well. The only downfall is that there is no flexibility on more than one dog. We were sad to leave our two pups back home. Not too far from town and there is the Landing which we were able to walk to!

Very nice small cabin with all the comforts of home. Nice quiet street and well stocked with necessities. Plenty of dishes, pans and utensils and all other items you would find in a hotel room. It’s nice not to worry about every meal out. This is our third stay at a VRBO and we are really satisfied with the alternative from motels and hotels.

Out stay was nice. The owner, I believe, stopped by to make sure everything was good and made sure we were warm and offered additional heating. Very accommodating. A couple of issues…the property was managed by a separate, off site, company. I felt the check-in instructions seemed delayed. Also, communicating with them was slightly annoying. They couldn’t answer my questions through the Vrbo app and referred me to the on-site management, which I had no means to communicate with. I received multiple messages from different people from the 3rd party with no answer. Other than that, the stay was nice.

We enjoyed a nice stay at this cute property. We wish the weather had been better but that cannot be helped. It had everything we needed but we only had one role of toilet paper for 3 nights so we had to buy some and it was a tad cold so had to go to town to buy an extra heater for the cabin. Mark was wonderfully kind. Very cute place for a get away.

Great location. Close to the water. Property had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked appropriately. We especially loved the low profile patio as our dear friend is in a wheel chair and was able to come visit and roll right up to the patio for lovely morning visit.

The property was better than I expected. Very nice setting and cute cottage. The bedding and linens were a pleasant surprise. Overall very pleased with our stay. The second bedroom needs a small dresser or chest with drawers for clothes.

Good Things Come In Small Packages
If you're lookin' for a place to stick your toes in the water and a$$ in the sand in Michigan, instead of Msxico (apologizes to Zack Brown's Band), plant your BFF, your bottom and your loyal canine buddy in this restorative retreat for a day, a few nights or a week or two. It's Pure Michigan in the finest sense.. Everything you might need, and everything you don't need, becomes as clear as the starlit sky on one of those nights when you finally decide to slow down long enough to take a look. Definitely worth the price of admission. Don't miss it!

This is a cute little rustic cottage, 1 of 3 on the property. It comes with everything you need to enjoy your getaway. The kitchen is stocked with the cooking tools to make your own meals, as well as a grill on your patio. It also has public access to Lake Charlevoix, just a short block away. We would definitely stay again!

My three adult children had a wedding to attend and stayed at the Lake House. It was perfect. Close to the venue, Castle Farms, a short walk to Lake Charlevoix, close to all stores, restaurants and downtown Charlevoix. The cabin felt like home as soon as we walked in. Very clean and cozy. Next time we visit Charlevoix e will definitely stay at The Lake House.
