Wifi was great and consistent for digital nomad work. Breakfast was simple but good options for western and eastern. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Rooms are spotless and modern. Ac was great. Rooftop pool was really beautiful and clean. The views from top restaurant area including breakfast or rooftop bar oranywhere in the hotel really are stunning. Great place to walk at night with beautiful fountains and pagodas. Great place to jog and exercise and right behind hotel is a ton of street food vendors. Basically your own local night market. Riverfront is also easily walkable and safe.. we will dedifinitely stay here anytime we visit.

Friendliest hotel staff I've ever met
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff were the FRIENDLIST people I have ever met. Always smiling, it was impossible not to be happy. So accommodating too. We had a very spacious room, which was really clean. The pool area was really nice, and the pool was so refreshing after exploring the city. Great location for walking to all the must see spots.

When we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and offered a hot towel, fruit juice, and fresh fruit. The property was beautiful and had an amazing view from the rooftop pool and restaurant.

This hotel was amazing. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and kind. The front desk Sam and kasak they helped me with everything. What tours to book, places to eat,how not to get scammed. What apps to download. If I had any questions they helped me immediately. Spa staff was awesome also. Very polite. Kitchen staff service was great at the roof top restaurant. I will definitely spend my money here again. Can't wait to come back.

Weekend in Phnom Penh
Close to night-life streets but not too close so it's quieter (one tuktuk away). Love the roof top pool and bar. Room is big. Sadly lots of insects tend to come in at night even with windows closed. Also, not much food options nearby. We walked few blocks around hotel but no decent local cafes. Would like to recommend staff, his name is Kasak. Very friendly, helpful and hospitable!

We have had an amazing six nights at this incredible gem. From arriving we were greeted with warmth and friendship. Our room was amazing with the bath being the highlight. Nothing was too much of an ask and we loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Better solutions @ the same price point in PP.
The hotel is ok for the price point but below the expectations for the high average review the hotel currently has. The hotel design and materials are clearly chinese, not to international standards of other hotels in this price point. The breakfast as well was below average. The pool area which is the hotels biggest selling point had very little space for laying near the pool. Only 6 very tightly positioned places to sit. No need to have a roof top pool without adequate space to sit or without a bar.

Wir haben 2 unglaublich tolle Tage im Chaiya Palace Hotel verbracht!! Das Hotel ist relativ neu und super sauber!! Das Doppelzimmer war so geräumig mit einem tollen Bad und einem super Ausblick auf den Mekong. Ein Highlight ist der wundervoll geschwungene Pool auf dem Dach des Hotels. Hier kann man herrlich entspannen, und den Ausblick auf die Stadt und den Fluss genießen. Besonders hervorheben wollen wir jedoch das Team, welches uns einen ganz besonderen Empfang geboten hat. Jeder einzelne war so unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend - das haben wir auf der ganzen Reise kein Zweites Mal erlebt!! Besonderen Dank an Kim, Kirak, Cherry, China and Sam!!!
