Publié le 6 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayCould be fabulous but too much “stuff” stored within the casita. It felt too crowded for a small place. Felt like too many items. Also, some dog poop that wasn’t picked up made it difficult at night to see and avoid when walking on the property.

Beautiful Casita with all amenities

Good for our purposes

The pool area was not exactly as we had expected - could use some cleaning up and updated furniture to make it more comfortable and relaxing. The inside of the casita is small but perfect for just a cozy place to stay while we spent time with friends elsewhere. There was a private garage and driveway space which was nice as well. Minimal interaction with the property owner as we simply did not need much while there. Overall it was a good stay.

Beware. Not As Pictured
Publié le 25 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe casita was not what we expected! The photos may be old or a previous owner, but are not accurate. There are "collectables" all over the place. I can appreciate that someone may collect things, but this is not the place to store or display them. There were so many on the bathroom counter that we had to move them to put our things there. Even the garage is full of them, and actually kind of strange. Our preference is more simple and minimal. I would not have rented this unit if I would have seen actual photos of the current condition. The casita was clean, but cluttered. Also there are things piled behind the house by the pool. There are also cameras everywhere! You feel as though you have no privacy and need to keep the blinds closed. Would not rent here again.

You mention that there are many collectables, and this is true. We try to give the place a distinct character such that guests will remember it and enjoy something a little different. So far you are the first guest to indicate that this isn't to your liking. I will update the listing to make it clear that the casita isn't 'plain' and I will update the photos too.
Regarding your comment about cameras everywhere – there are 2 cameras facing the back, one towards the pool and the other towards the casita’s garage. We don’t have any cameras that capture anything in the casita or around it. The reason for those cameras is that in case of an insurance claim – there will be some footage of the events. We installed them following a couple of unwarranted insurance claims.

Phenomenal few days

Was impressed with the cleanliness, everything that was in the casita, and the surrounding area. Better than any condo or timeshare that we have ever used. Would recommend this to anyone.
