The house is amazing and beautiful.. everything you need for a home away from home. Something for everyone in the family to occupy themselves. It is located close to stores and the freeway. The beds were super comfy. We will definitely come back. There are options to have the beds in the room king or twin size. The home is just like the pictures. Although it was 111 degrees, the home was nice and cool. The backyard area is beautifully laid out. It is safe and quiet.

The outdoor area was great, looked just like the pictures. The inside of the house was disappointing...it had a really bad smell, like chemicals, the walls need painting, & you cannot put the air conditioning above 72, so the back bedrooms were really hot.

Very glad to hear that you enjoyed the outdoor areas of our home. I sure wish you had mentioned the odor during your stay so it could have been addressed during your stay. I can assure you that had you let me know during your stay I would have addressed any issues immediately. When I first found out about this issue after reading your Review, I looked into it but was unable to detect any issues at all. My property caretaker was also unable to detect any odor at all. As a precaution, I scheduled a deep cleaning of the home, but the cleaning service was also unable to detect any type of odor either. I suspect that maybe it was a temporary matter, or perhaps was specific to your particular senses or sensibilities. With respect to the thermostat being limited to 72 degrees please understand that there is a very good reason for this limitation. You visited Scottsdale in July which is the hottest month of the year with average temperatures of 105 degees. Some visitors from colder weather climates are under the false notion that residential A/C systems are unlimited in their capacity to cool during times of extreme heat. Unfortunately, environmental damage to our earth's ozone layer has led to regulatory restrictions against the use of traditional strong freons because they are shown to cause significant ozone depletion. The more ozone-friendly freons do not cause as much ozone damage, but they are also not as efficient and do not cool more than about 30 degrees below the outside ambient air temperature. There is a lot of information available on the internet regarding this very important matter. Most people are comfortable at 72 degrees but some people from cold weather climates who travel here during our extreme heat period have a difficult time and for those people to chose a cooler period of the year for future travel to the Phoenix metro area.

Very glad to hear that you enjoyed the home and thought the home was beautiful. With respect to the thermostat being limited to 72 degrees please understand that there is a very good reason for this limitation. You visited Scottsdale in June which is one of the hottest months of the year with average temp's above 100 degees as you indicated. Visitors from colder weather climates sometimes are under the false notion that residential A/C systems are unlimited in their capacity to cool. Unfortunately, environmental damage to our earth's ozone layer have led to regulatory restrictions against strong freons because they are shown to cause significant ozone depletion. The newer A/C equipment being manufactured in th elast ten years all use more ozone-friendly freons that do not cause as much damage to the ozone. Unfortunately, these safer freons do not cool more than 30 degrees below the outside ambient air temperature. I hope this helps you to understand why the thermostat must be set no lower than 72 in the summer in Scottsdale.
