They overcharged me and then said I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to fix it.

Hotel should update the amenities1
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe booked the stay here as we've stayed in the past and really enjoyed the pool at night to relax and hang out. Unfortunately, the hotel did not notify us via their website or the hotels.com website that it was going through construction and was closed. When I mentioned it to the desk agent, Navaeh she was snotty in asking where I booked my trip stating that she wanted to "cover all her bases". The issue is that the Hotels.com site and the BW site do not have anything about this amenity being closed. When I called BW direct (not the hotel) to book a room and test them on the availability when they were asked about the pool on site being open they said they had no info that it wasn't. It would have been nice to know before as we would have stayed elsewhere. In addition when I checked out the same desk agent recognized me from the day prior and was snotty again when I went to check out. She looked at me and said "Keys". I said I left them in the room, I just need a receipt please. She handed it to me with a snarky here you go. No thank you for staying with us, etc. The elevator is missing buttons and directional arrows as well. The button is an issue as someone could put their finger in their and touch the wires.

First I would like to inform you that the elevator button was fixed yesterday and the elevator company was notified as soon as it was brought to our attention. As for the pool closure…I do not know how Best Western wouldn’t have been unaware of the pool closure when I have personally been working with the Lead Marketing Consultant at Best Western since 09/06/2024. He informed me BW and 3rd party booking sites have been notified as well. I believe Hotels.com is part of the Expedia family and I have personally seen that under hotel amenities it has a “Temporary Closures” section with pool and spa listed. I am sorry you missed this when booking your reservation. We did our very best to inform all our guests of the temporary closure. I will be sure to address my front desk staff. Safe travels.

Last time we stayed (may 2024) our beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean and the lint in the dryer was empty which is nice. This stay was not so pleasant. The gal working during the day was not pleasant, myself and the two other families that stayed with us felt the same, she had a poor attitude. There were 2 queen beds in our room, the bed closets to the window was horrible, not sure if some of the brackets are broke but it had a tilt to it, we picked this hotel and recommended to our friends (who stayed with us this time) specifically for the comfortable beds so that was very disappointing. We took advantage of the washer/dryer, I assumed the link collector was something house keeping cleaned out, considering that is a fire hazard, I must have been wrong when the first load wasn’t dry I check and the lint collector was packed with lint. Upon backing our things, I checked all the drawers to ensure my kids did hide any of our belongings, what do I find? An unopened box of CONDOMS in the side table, surely hotels aren’t suppling condoms in place of bibles now?

Great stay!

Breakfast was perfect with a lot of options and had a nice attendant who was refilling everything. I’d prefer a hotel which offers recycling and also not using plastic one use bottles for shampoos, etc. but I’d definitely stay here again!

I had to unplug the fridge because it was so loud and keeping me up. Which was no easy task because it was in a built in unit. And the TV was borderline unusable. The buttons on the remote don’t do what they supposed to. Just flipping through cable channels was impossible.
But they let me check in early. So that was cool

3 night stay and no housekeeping service. I had to get my own clean towels
Put trash outside my door first night and was still there the 3rd night
