Great all around

Cleanliness and rat issue
Publié le 3 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayDuring our second day at the property, we were dismayed to discover a deceased rat lying within close proximity to the pool area. The situation worsened on our final day when we encountered another deceased rat floating in the pool itself. When we raised this alarming issue with the property management company, their response was disheartening. We were simply told that they couldn't control the movements of rats, birds, or other animals outdoors, and they showed no intention of addressing the problem. Such negligence poses a significant health risk, reflecting a disregard for the well-being and concerns of guests. Regrettably, I cannot in good conscience recommend this particular property or any other managed by iTrip Vacations Scottsdale. Proceed with caution!

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention as you were checking out. We do apologize that you did see a dead rat floating in the pool on the morning you were checking out and one that had been rotted out near the bushes. We do take these concerns very seriously. While we have not had any issues with rats in the past, as a precation we did place bait traps at the property. The rats eat the bait and then die usually 4-7 days later. These particular rats happened to die at this property probrably while trying to drink from the pool. We are not able to control where rats, birds or other animals go, but this house has does have pest control service regularly as well as these bait traps that were just installed after this incident. We have not had any other guest raise this concern before or after this guest departed.

Clean and overall a wonderful stay
