Large home with a lot of space

It lists to sleep up to 30 and we had 16 members of our extended family there for a wedding over a long weekend. The gathering spaces for the family both inside and outside were great! There are actually 6 bedrooms and a sleeping area listed as a bedroom that has 2 beds but is in an open area in the back hall. Some of the beds that would sleep 30 are roll-aways and floor mats (which we did take advantage of for a few of our folks and would be better for children than adults). The hot-tub was great. We were happy to put out the trash early on the morning of trash day as requested, but were a bit surprised that there is a fine if that does not occur. Some of the furniture was a bit dated but functional. Overall, for the group we had, this space worked well. The owner, Jerry, is very communicative and answered all of our questions in a timely fashion.

Family Wedding
Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayStayed 4 nights Oct 2024. Had 18 family members in town for a wedding. There was plenty of room to spread out for everyone and it never felt crowded. Everyone loved the property and had a great stay. The only downside was a bathtub that had some of the finish peeling off and shower cutain stained from hard water. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hottub. The location was great. Jerry was great to work with and always responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again. . again.tshower

Wedding weekend

I was looking for a place that at least 16 people (6 couples, 4 singles) could have their own bed. This place was perfect! It was close to the pre-wedding activities and venue plus grocery stores! We all had the space we needed to not be on top of each other but enjoy time together. A few people swam in the pool which was a pleasant temperature considering it was 115 out. I had a few question and Jerry was quick to respond and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

"Rent at your own risk: Where dreams go south quickly!”
Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI would never recommend staying at this rental property. The listing was incredibly misleading about the cleanliness and state of the home, beds, and supplies. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find a stale smelling home, a severely worn old towel supply, dirty/uncleaned bathrooms, and a severe lack of welcomeness from the Owner. We couldn’t even put our groceries away because they were trying to save a buck by unplugging the extra refrigerator in the garage. I mean, this was supposed to be one of the amenities of why we rented.
Additionally, the owner was extremely combative, confrontational and unhelpful and when we brought these issues to his attention he rudely stated “Why don’t I just refund your money and you can get the hell out of there“ knowing full well, there were 15 people staying there and we paid thousands and were trapped. I mean what kind of owner solves any customer issue like that?
Once you get there or after you’ve provided your money, you’ll find out that the “strict rules!” Are just unbelievable. Taking their trash cans in and out, having set timelines or “you’re going to owe extra fees”, just threats I’ve never experienced in any quality rental.
Overall, our experience at this rental property was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to stay. Seriously!

This "guest" was filthy, nasty and dishonest from the second they checked in. They left my home in horrible condition after hosting an unauthorized party and having to be warned. They had no regard for my house rules and complained about everything. I could not wait for these horrible people to get out of my home. PLEASE READ ALL MY REVIEWS ABOUT MY HOME AND THE SERVICE I PROVIDE. I assure you it's nothing like they've reported in this very inaccurate review. Thank You!!

Birthday trip
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is massive and very impressive, the location was perfect for us since anything that we wanted to eat or do was around a 5-10 minute drive. We will definitely be looking for this house whenever we decide to make another trip. The host Jerry is also very responsive and clear with the instructions for the house.

Excellent place to gather

Tons of non-bed sleeping options- air beds, extra mattresses, pads, etc. Plenty of linens and towels. Pool was perfect. Location is great, good access to the loop and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Double stack washer/dryer came in handy when we were running laundry before we packed up to leave.

We’re already talking about booking for another get together and we might even invite the kids. The landlord was helpful and quick to respond when we had questions.
