Unit C, is a studio suite that is detached from the main house for extra privacy and features a kitchenette, designated workspace, and living room area

* No smoking indoors. Smoking is only allowed in the designated outdoor smoking area which is located towards the front west corner of the house (side opposite of the parking area).
*Please speak to us prior to inviting anyone that is not a part of your reservation over to our home.
* Do not flush items other than toilet paper down toilet, or use non-septic safe chemicals in any drain.

Basic living at its best
If you are looking for luxury and amenities, look elsewhere. This studio is a basic, well-kept casita, perfect for coming and going in the area. I was spending most of my time visiting family and sight-seeing in the area so it gave me the perfect retreat for a shower, a snack or lite meal, and a good night’s sleep. The owners were pleasant, cordial and provided extras that made me feel at home. Since I was staying 2 weeks, they provided a room refresh after one week. And the price was affordable for my needs! I would stay here again!

Oasis in the city
Very quiet and peaceful. Quite suitable for a single person or couple. Wifi was useful. Toaster oven comes in handy as there is a Trader Joes nearby. Only 7 miles from Pima Canyon for great hiking.

The studio apartment is just the right size - not too big, not too small. It's beautifully decorated, and there was enough of the things we needed. It is better suited for a short visit, or if you don't need to do much food prep. I'm sure we could have requested the items we needed for food prep, but we had already gotten them elsewhere.

Truly a Retreat
I'm relocating to the Phoenix area for work. Stayed in a hotel for about a month before booking a couple of weeks here. Everything was great. Convenient. Easy as a single guy living out of a bag. Though the kitchen space gets a little tricky longer term once I had my teen daughter living here too. I'll definitely booking again for a weekend "escape" with my wife in the next few months 😊

I loved our stay, it was close to where we needed to be. Very quiet and pet friendly. Super cute little studio, perfect for the two of us and our 2 small pets. My only suggestion is that the bed could be more comfortable, the frame it sits on makes a lot of noise when you move or get up and is very hard.

We feel the pictures on the VRBO website were a bit deceiving...wasn't quite as pretty as we were led to believe. It was also a cold unit...never really got any sun. And the heater was kinda useless. on the plus side, very nice quite, dark neighborhood...didn't ever hear a siren! Would have liked to have seen the owners a little more.

Great Find!
Country Haven Retreat offered just what we needed for the whole month of February. First of all, it was "pet friendly". Our dog had a great time exploring the neighborhood and meeting its many animal residents! Secondly, I always felt safe. Colleen and Michael live on the premises and the guests I met were very nice people. The Casita was CUTE, comfy and cozy. Colleen and Michael really did a nice job preparing it for guests. The 60 and 202 Freeways are nearby as well as Chandler Fashion Mall and downtown Chandler area. Colleen and Michael provided a book recommending nearby restaurants and other info. Lastly, traveling was a breeze if you avoided rush hour. I would definitely book through Country Haven Retreat again!

Great little getaway
The Casita Suite was super cute and cozy. Be aware that this unit does allow pets. While it was very clean, we are sensitive to smells and could tell there had been dog(s) in the suite. However, once we settled in, it was fine. The location was perfect for our needs - very close and accessible to lots of things. The hosts have it all set up so check in/out are quick and easy. They also had most everything we needed (no shower soap) for the weekend. Would definitely stay again!

Nice, quiet setting on a residential side street, but very convenient to where I needed to go for professional meetings about 2 miles away. I stayed in the casita, which was very comfortable. Had a nice chat with the friendly owner, Colleen. Would be my first choice when I need to stay in the area again.

Charming and peaceful retreat
This charming casita was a perfect place to stay while visiting our family. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood with our grand daughters and looking at bunnies, emus and chickens. Our hosts were very responsive to all questions. Parking was convenient and we felt very at home. Picking fresh grapefruit from the tree was a bonus for northerners like us. We hope to stay here again soon.
