Sarah's Sanctuary-Renovated Midtown Melrose Home With Pool-Heated with surcharge

Newly renovated house with semi-private HEATED pool (see below for details on Pool heating prices). We have a full time tenant in the guest house (detached and away from the main house).

Woodlea-Melrose Historic Neighborhood features beautifully kept historic homes and is quiet, safe, and wonderfully walkable. We aim for the perfect blend of homestyle comforts with a resort style feel. The furnishings and accouterments of the home will make you feel comfortable and pampered. Kitchen is all set up for cooking and we include starter items for coffee, tea, and paper products. Towels and linens are always provided clean and top quality. We want you to be comfortable during your stay. Master Bedroom has a King bed and the second bedroom has a California King. The family room has a trundle bed to provide 2 additional twin beds.

The property is the main house on a large corner lot. A guest house is also on the property with a permanent tenant. The main house is all yours. The pool and backyard area is shared. The grill by the house is for guest use only. The permanent tenant will respect your privacy. We are following safe distancing and have a lockbox for check in and out.

*POOL HEATING:
Pool heat option is all or nothing for the duration of your stay. Many guests do not want pool heating so we offer for a surcharge for those that do. If you want the pool to be comfortable for swimming during your stay we recommend pool heating at these times and the rate we charge will be the following prices multiplied by the number of nights of your reservation (we discount for stays of a week or longer):

For example, a 5 night stay in March would be $250 for pool heating.

A solar cover is used to help heat and retain heat in the pool. During your stay we ask guests to return the cover into place when not using the pool and particularly overnight. This allows us to charge reasonable heating prices and keep down our gas usage. Also the heater will not be able to maintain a comfortable swimming temperature if the cover is not used in this manner.

***Security Cameras in use. Outside only. One pointed at the front door entrance. One pointed along the side yard monitoring the side gate. One on the pool equipment. No cameras are monitoring the pool.***

Sarah and Noel are experienced Premier Partner VRBO hosts and we do everything we can to create an experience that provides a home away from home with a touch of luxury and style. We take feedback from our guests to continuously improve what we can.

We live just 4 houses down across the street and can help with anything that comes up during your stay! Don't be surprised if you get invited over for a glass of wine :) If you want your privacy, though, we can take a hint. ;) We also host a guest house on the back of our personal home. The sanctuary was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. We paid extra to heat the pool which is a complete must have with the ladies. The location was perfect close to everything such as shopping zoo stadium. We had a nice stay.

In Phoenix area for spring training games & hiking. As we were all over the broader Phoenix area, this offered a nice central location. We were close to major roads. Quiet neighborhood.

Fun quirky house. Comfy beds. Outlets are old so my charger wouldn’t stay plugged in the bedroom. Nice coffee /tea selection. Homeless guy was wandering the neighborhood.Only on street parking available. No bathroom counter-space for makeup and jewelry. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Gender Reveal Party
My sister and I traveled to Phoenix for a niece's gender reveal party. We stayed at Sarah's Sanctuary and love, love, loved the house! It has such a friendly vibe and was comfortable from the moment of arrival. The house is exactly as described and located in a cute little neighborhood. It's easy access to the airport, freeway, shops, and dining choices was very much appreciated. We spent three hours one evening just floating in the pool and chatting. The beds are comfy and the rain shower in the bathroom was heavenly. This will definitely be our go to property when visiting Phoenix. Oh, and by the way, it's a Girl!

Perfect relaxing get away bungalow
This home is warm and inviting from the moment you step in the door. One of a kind art and eclectic little “beach house” in the middle of the desert. Very well equipped to eat in and near many places to eat out. Great location, lovely neighborhood.

Great little place to stay. Just the right size for four adults. Only wish we had had time to stay longer. The neighborhood is a quiet oasis within walking distance of a few places to eat and a quant little coffee shop. The owners were quick to respond to questions, even though they were on vacation, too. The person living in the house on the property was quiet and kept to herself. The most interesting feature of the house and neighborhood had to be the abundance of doves and the collective sound they made.

Fantastic Stay in the Sun!
We had a mothers/daughters long weekend getaway focused on the weather and a pool. Sarah's Sanctuary was an oasis in the hot Arizona sun! The pool was clean and refreshing and the outdoor space provided lots of spots for sun, shade, or a mix. Very relaxing! The home was very comfortable, clean, and stayed the perfect temperature once we came in from the hot day. The neighborhood is also a 5/5. It was quiet but still close enough to Door Dash whatever we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful retreat!
Our experience was 5 star all the way. Sarah’s Sanctuary was very comfortable, clean and homey. The pool in the back is just as beautiful as the pictures show. Beds were very comfortable- love that they are king sized. We were looking for a nice, walkable neighborhood and to our delight, we had that and more! Nice restaurants, coffee shops, bars, vintage shopping. We were also in close proximity to highways to explore the rest of Phoenix. Book the Sanctuary - you will not be disappointed!
