Nice place. Overall happy with our choice. Would stay again. Two issues- took 3 tries to get housekeeping service our room properly. First day- not serviced. Second day- had to be reminded again, but forgot to replenish coffee 😕 Third day- very late but completed correctly. After that- no issues. Second issue- ridiculously loud wedding at night right outside our room in the clearing/lounge area for guests. Way too loud and no warning from the hotel. Quite a surprise when arrived after a long day of sightseeing and dinner. Would still recommend

Awful experience charged $500 for air quality issue in room. Have emphysema and COPD, Sean S the GM was not helpful in any way. Rooms inexpensive think your getting a good deal but just an old resort trying to stay relevant. Choose another hotel close by like the McCormick or Hilton. Stay away. Sean is an absolute disaster

The staff at the Scottsdale Plaza resort was friendly. She was able to help us was able to upgrade my reservation and I surprised when she told me I was a vip and she told us that our room would be upgraded to a casita.

A very clean and quiet hotel for a December getaway (and affordable this time of year.) The room had everything I needed for a relaxing solo trip in the sun, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I loved the pools, especially the quiet one in the back, and the fitness center was excellent. The breakfast restaurant was fabulous, with the hostess/food runner being one of the most positive and delightful person I’ve met. However, I was disappointed with JD Restaurant as it primarily offered pub food with very few clean, healthy options. Another downside was the heavy use of perfume/fragrance in the lobby, main areas, and fitness center. As someone sensitive to fragrance, it gave me headaches and almost deterred me from working out. Fragrance can be overwhelming and toxic to many, so I’d strongly recommend reconsidering its use. Despite these issues, I’d definitely return during the off-season to escape the Seattle gray. Cheers!
