There is a very strong smell of pee right outside the building. You can see the columns stained with pee. And it's aggravated with the heat. May be someone could clean that up from time to time

Wonderful property, super comfortable and clean and great facilities. A few good restaurants around. Only downside was the homeless people around.

I really enjoyed the concept of Sonder at McKinley. Getting access to the building and the rooms with key codes, any questions or request going through the app, and everything overall being online, with no "front desk" to deal with. It felt very independent and the rooms were very nice, with balconies and full kitchens. One thing that was slightly frustrating was the internet going in and out every few minutes, especially since I was here for a conference and needing to work in between. It was also almost impossible to use the Chromecast since the internet is needed to sync devices.

Love my Sonder Stays!

I had to extend my stay due to Hurricane back home and Sonder was very accommodating in making that emergency change.

The property itself was great, clean, roomy, smelled great and the bed was comfortable.
The only part i would say wasnt great for me, was if you dont read the several emails. It was a bit difficult to get there.
The door reads the stewart, but when booking it read its called the sonder at McKinley, so that was confusing. When u get a rode share and they drop you off near a parking garage, and i had no clue where it was based on the name. So think about arriving from airport, your tired, hungry and jist want to get to your room all the while holding several pieces of luggage, only to find out you didnt read those very important emails that will instruct you wil several lieces of inportant info. Like a different door codes just to navigate..
So my take away, is if you want a hotel stay this isnt it, but if you read those email and download their app you will be fine and it really was a great stay.

Furniture is to be desired, couch is old and lumpy, noisy (but this is normal it is in downtown)
