I will never stay here again

We booked a 2 bedroom suite 3 months in advance through Hotels.com. 3 days before check in, we were called and told that our 2 bedroom suite was not available. We were offered 2 /1 bedroom studios instead. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Rooms are only cleaned every 7 days. We never even cooked in the room, yet oven and front of stove was dirty. We were there 10 days before ours got cleaned. There was a mousetrap behind the refrigerator. Our service dog was growling at something. I saw fresh food being put on top of older food in breakfast area. Juice machine was broken as was the pancake machine. We only ate breakfast the first day. Very dry. I only went for coffee after that. I overheard other people complaining as well.

It was fine and relaxable and so cool however are bathtub the water valve were the shower came off and just put it back in and carefull move it turn on the water told front desk but no maintenance on it and just relax and left the next day or check out

I was very pleased with the staff at Sonesta. They were pleasant and helpful. We did not feel unsafe at the hotel, but it is in a neighborhood that did appear to be somewhat unsafe. We liked the hot breakfast every morning. Our room was not as clean as we would have liked, but the room was very spacious and comfortable.

The property is run down and not very clean. The carpets were dirty and the bathroom sink and tub did not drain properly. We had to request bath soap as the dispenser was empty. The linens were old and when I stripped the bed before we left, the mattress cover was tattered and torn. The positive was it’s location close to everything and the breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was NOT good. The juice machine was broken 3 mornings, the eggs were runny, the toaster onlu worked if you ran it twice, the pancakes were dry and tasted poorly. The pool didnt have towels 2 days out of the 3 we went. The pool was gross and had a bunch of stuff on the bottom of it. The hot tub didnt work 1 of the days. The "sofa bed" was a tiny twin bed. It didnt have extra blankets so we had to go ask for blankets and they didnt give us extra pillows that we asked for. We grabbed snacks and I stood there for 5 minutes until the agent would help me pay for my items. She knew i was there because she looked up when I sent my family off to the room. The laundry service was broken so we had to pay to use a laundromat. We will NOT be back.

We had a room reserved for 3 nights but left after the first night, we would have left sooner if possible. The room reeked when we arrived, definitely smoking. Nothing looked like it had been recently cleaned. Mold in the shower, the door lock didn't work but they installed a 2nd hotel room lock (the one that flips over) that just made me feel more unsafe. Outlet in bathroom didn't work. There was a whole hotel room full of furniture lined up outside our door in the hall. Bed, couch, dishwasher, frig, etc. This place needs an overhaul. Not a place for visiting guests to Tempe. Definitely seems like temporary living for locals.

Our stay was okay. It was my first trip to Arizona with my boyfriend. The hotel didn't provide room service once so when we ran out of body wash the second day and asked for it.. it still took forever to get to us. We had to ask for things more than once, not just soap but clean towels since we used ours at the pool. I had to wait to shower because even though I had asked for these necessities early in the day it seemed as though no one was able to bring them to us. Staff was super friendly and did the best they could. I felt bad I had to bother the front desk several times. The toilet paper was extremely thin and breakfast time changes depending on the weekend or week day which threw us off. Other than service, and toiletries provided everything was fine.
