I liked this motel because I did not have to walk up the hill to get to my accommodation. Shops were around the corner and yeah it was comfortable and clean.

Not good for families specially if you have kids

The staff were unfriendly and rude, which made our stay uncomfortable from the start. Guests are expected to clean their own rooms, and there’s no room service at all, which felt below basic standards. At one point, my three-year-old son poked holes in a couple of coffee milk pods. Instead of addressing it calmly, the manager confronted us in an aggressive and accusatory way, claiming we were disrespectful to the staff. It was an upsetting and unnecessary escalation that only made things worse.

Property was okay, but I paid for carpark space (was included with my Expedia booking) and was told I couldn't use the motel carpark and would have to park on the street (timed parking). The motel had a few un-used spaces for the night!

Convenient but room hard worn.

Convenient location, easy parking. Room was hard worn. Everything worked but needed a full refurb to reach the standard of other similarly priced hotels and motels we stayed in across NZ.

Our unit was spotless and very accommodating with lots of amenities. We stayed for three nights and unfortunately two of the nights included Friday and Saturday. Loud noise, often shouting from intoxicated patrons a few doors down kept us awake until midnight.
