Posted Nov. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayInitially we were very happy to have stayed here as the host was seemingly very nice and accommodating. My mother and I decided to stay here in between her treatments as she is ill, so she's not always 100% but this was a location we could come back to quickly if she started feeling unwell in town. Well, she accidentally broke a mug due to being hit with nausea, that is on us, and the property manager emailed and texted me the next day and I apologized. She then texted me towels with holes in them, insinuating that we had done that as well, the following day. I apologized for the mug, however you are taking a risk staying here if you want to be blamed for things you had no control over/had nothing to do with. Also, the coffee machine WAS NOT working 100%, which I emailed in this app to advise, so I did a reset sequence and left it unplugged and went out to buy a small one. I was texted a video of her making coffee afterward to my phone, again not communicating in the app. We were long gone from the rental and I am glad that it is working, however the entire exchange after we had left was unnecessary and chastising and I had to ask her to please stop texting me.

Well, first of all, I’m glad to know you were happy of your stay in our place, but regards of your one-sided story drama, I think it’s necessary to clarify some real facts. Since the very beginning your booking, you started to emphasize your mother’s illness, kind of the like she was the only person in the world who was sick. Knowing your situation, we’ve been very caring and cooperative to get everything well prepared for you. However since you checked in, the drama started, and you kept on sending us long messages to report the coffee machine didn’t work, meanwhile kept on mentioning your mom was sick and said maybe because you’re the unlucky one bla bla… Giving full of stress on us, kind of like a moral manipulation. Even though our manager still patiently explained to you how the coffee worked, but you insisted you knew how the machine worked and decided to reset it by yourself. Finally after your check-out we tried the coffee machine in a proper way, and it worked perfectly, so we took a video of that and tried to send it to you on VRBO, but it’s not possible to send a video on VRBO app, and that’s why our manager texted it to you instead (There was no rule on VRBO says hosts don’t have the right to text the guests).
However, what really surprised and disappointed us was after your check-out our place was left in a mess, a tea cup was broken and threw in the trash can, hidden in the bottom, while the towels were left on the bathroom floor everywhere, and one of our pretty new towels was torn with big holes. And then we sent the broken items photos to you on VRBO, but you just kept silence without any response, therefore our manager texted you the photos, and then you texted back to say it’s just an accident caused by your mom’s sickness. Ok, that’s fine, we could understand, but what we couldn’t understand was since you were able to send us those long stressful messages to “kindly” let us to be aware of the coffee machine problem (It actually works perfectly), but kept silent about the items you’ve broken? The broken tea cup hidden in the bottom of the trash can could be very dangerous for our cleaning staff, especially the risk being cut on the fingers. If you ever at least left us a short words mentioning about it, we would be understanding and appreciated, but you just didn’t, let alone apologized. On the contrary, you just texted back with a “Sorry” + a question mark “?” Even ironically said that’s just a “dollar store mistake”! Well, I’ve to say it’s not just a matter of a dollar store mistake, but a matter of honesty, a matter of the risk not to get our employee injured, and the last but not the least important, a matter of education. Hope that’s not the way how your beloved mother educates you. We’ve been hosting tons of guests for years with excellent records, and we always put our guests’ satisfaction at the first priority. This is a mutual respect and mutual benefit platform. Please remember to be honest but not hypocrite, cause there is no space for dishonesty and hypocrite anywhere, especially in our property. Thanks!

Lovely Pied à Terre
Posted Feb. 11, 2023 on HomeAwayThis studio is the perfect place to stay for a couple of days of skiing or any other outdoor activity in the area. It’s tastefully furnished, the kitchen has everything you need, a few minutes drive to shopping, restaurants and the slopes - perfect!

It was a wonderful stay in a very nice space. Lynne was wonderful and a small issue with the kitchen sink, she was on it immediately. Beautiful little getaway, too cold to leave and to outdoor things, but next time for sure! Thanks Lynne for the wonderful hospitality

Et jai fait 10 heures de route et un fois arrivés sûr place pour prendre possession de ma chambre
Et pour me faire dire qu'elles as canceller ma chambre et qu'il fallait que je m'organise avec se problème et que ma chambre avait été passé à une autre personne
J'ai reçu aucun aide de "VBRO" plus jamais je vais faire affaire avec vos établissements services à la clientèle un gros ZÉRO et jai pas encore été remboursé et ça fait plus de 2 semaines
