What a beautiful bed and breakfast! The owner was warm, welcoming, gracious, and very accommodating. Our room and bathroom was large, very clean (the entire home was), and comfortable. There is a beautiful second floor deck to relax on. Breakfast was cooked to order by the owner and was delicious. The extra details; water,pop, snacks, special soaps/shampoos, extra towels, and a beautifully set table for breakfast made our stay even more special. We would return to Pierre just to stay at this property!

Beautiful property. I love old houses. Deb was so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay!

Got to the property and there were no rooms available despite my reservation/confirmation. No staff were available on-site just a note with a phone number to call if there was a problem. Called the number. No answer and the voice mailbox was full. Horrible experience

Once again my stay at the Hitchin Post Inn was absolutely fabulous. If you are looking for a quiet, safe and comfortable place to relax this is the place. It's close enough to everything you may want to do in the Pierre, Ft. Pierre area but at the end if the day you can escape and relax. I look forward to returning again in the future.

Not -so-Charming
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HotelsThe reason I booked was because it was not a hotel or a motel. Rather, it was a lovingly restored old home. As it turned out, I booked the last available room, which slept more than we needed; thus, rather pricey. The second disappointment came when i learned that my booking was not actually locacted on the property. It was across the street and down a block from the charming house! Our booking was actually the lower, basement level of another not-so-charming house.
