Family friendly lakeside escape
Publié le 21 août 2024 sur HomeAwayNice rental for our larger extended family group. Lake had a lot of algae as of august 2024 so didnt feel great about swimming but enjoyed the kayaks they had. This might just be a bad season for algae.

Publié le 31 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had our extended family out for a few days at the lake! All (infant to grandparents) had a blast! The house was clean and the property was great! We enjoyed being able to walk out to the lake and spend time out with a fire.

Summer Fun

good for group getaway

Girls weekend
Publié le 6 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was great. Well equipped for our group of 8 ladies. Everyone had their own bed with beds to spare. Only 1 said their bed was too hard with a pokey spring. Basement was cold at first but owner responded to my message right away with a solution. Would definitely rent this one again.

Vacation Stay
Publié le 6 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house was good as it has a big yard before you get to the lake. The lake was very green which is not anything anyone can control. The kids still swam in the water. There was a small beach area for the kids which was better than no sandy area at all. House lacked some kitchen essentials; dishwasher didn't work; kitchen area is smaller, but we made it work. The game area in the basement was nice and we used that. We will be looking for a different place for next year.

Great house for a large group!
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThere was lots of space/rooms/extra beds for 13 adults with lots of amenities. We utilized the ping pong table and poker downstairs. We did a lot of sunbathing on the dock and utilized 2 of the paddle boards provided. We played the corn hole set that was provided. The deck was spacious and a great place to take in the scenery. There is an extra fridge in the garage that was amazing to have to store drinks in, we kept food in the kitchen fridge. There were plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, extra linens and towels. Really liked the lake cabin and feeling secluded, but also having the convenience of Walmart and gas stations less than 10 minutes away.
Carpets could use a good deep cleaning. The water pressure was pretty low and the hot water takes a long time to kick in, but nothing that hindered our experience here.
Our group really enjoyed the stay! Thank you for an amazing weekend!

Love the Property!
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis home is perfect for a family vacation EXCEPT the lake. There is no usable beach because it's not maintained and full of rotting lake weeds. The water is not swimmable. We found a jug of chemicals on the shoreline that said the lake was recently treated with hazardous chemicals. If you don't care about the lake the home itself is great and well maintained. We need a place where there's a clean sandy beach that the kids can swim in and we can float in.

Family Vacation
Publié le 11 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house and property were as listed! Very nice property and amenities! We had 8 adults and 7 kids and it easily accommodated us all. Unfortunately the weather this summer of being very hot and not much rain made the lake not swimable. I know we took a chance going this time of year. But there’s many places around to swim. We went to Mora outdoor swim park and Pine City had a great city park to swim. My family had a great time and we give it 5 stars!
