Golf Getaway
Publié le 4 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy friend and I were competing in the Mid Pines Hickory Golf tournament and thought this cottage would be the perfect place to relax after each full day of golf. It fit the bill perfectly. Located in a very nice and peaceful neighborhood close to anything you could need while in the Pinehurst area. It was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Quiet neighborhood
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaySurprised no toaster in kitchen. Everything was clean, but every morning there were dead bugs visible and needed cleaning up. Advertised as all on one level however there are two steps to entrance. My husband is disabled vet and uses walker. Quite a challenge. He also left his Viet Nam hat behind. Could you return it? Fan in living room and lights on either side of couch did not work

I’m sorry to hear you had concerns about your stay. The toaster is in the upper cabinet to the right of the microwave and is also visible in the listing photos. It’s curious you noted repeated instances of dead bugs. The quarterly pest treatment was about 2 months ago. I visited the property the week prior to your stay and did not see any bugs nor have any other guests raised concerns. The only time we’ve noticed insects in the home is when the doors are left open. The entrance to the property with 3 steps is shown in the listing photos. I double-checked the listing in Vrbo and could not find any references to “one level” but added text referencing the 3 steps to the entrance. I’m sorry to hear your husband struggled to enter the home. Yes, I will return your husband’s hat. The switches just inside the front door for the lamps on either side of the couch and the exterior light were turned off. While the switch for the fan on the wall was turned on, the switch on the fan itself was turned off. Perhaps these switches were accidentally left off by the cleaners. My apologies.
