The Space:
Perfectly located in the heart of downtown Village of Pinehurst, Tremont Cottage offers an exquisite blend of history and modern comfort. Just a one-minute walk from Pinehurst Course #2, this charming cottage is surrounded by cultural, recreational, dining, and shopping experiences. Built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts, the Tremont Cottage has been beautifully renovated to combine the charm of its origins with the conveniences of today, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

The cottage features a private pool, a fenced backyard, a gas fire pit, and an outdoor dining table, making it ideal for relaxation and entertainment. Inside, guests can enjoy a game room complete with a pool table, chess board, and board games, perfect for winding down after a day of exploration.

This Cottage has everything you need for a perfect vacation! Set in the heart of the historic village, Tremont Cottage was built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts. Renovations and upgrades combine all the charm of an original Tufts Cottage with the modern conveniences everyone wants. The Tremont was carefully prepared to make guests feel welcomed and have all the comforts of home.

Other Things to Note:
- A Rental Agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
- Two fireplaces on the first floor. One is inoperable and the other is an operable gas fireplace.

Great spot for a family!

Very comfortable and clean. Location was close and we took the Pinehurst shuttles from the Holly inn which was a 2 minute walk. Plenty of beds and rooms. Kitchen stocked with paper products/ trash bags/paper towels/spices and plenty of cooking and serving dishes. Laundry room stocked with detergent and dryer sheets even a first aid kit that came in handy. The pool table was fun and they had plenty of puzzles and board games. The pool and grill area was perfect and relaxing and pool towels were provided. Plenty of televisions with you tube tv and lots of streaming services. We would definitely stay again:)

Perfect House in Perfect Location

We loved spending Easter weekend here! The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The grill, fire pit and pool are wonderful and you can easily walk to anything you would need in the village or to the resort. Highly recommend!

Repeat renters. Love this place. So close you can walk to anywhere in Pinehurst. Wife and I were there for our 10th anniversary and everything was perfect. Amazing!

Everything about this property is amazing. The house itself is so adorable and welcoming. The little parlor room was our favorite. It was cozy and just a space we all gathered to watch tv. The location was perfect! It was just a short walk to The Holly, and the shops in the village. We loved our stay and recommend it to anyone coming to Pinehurst!

What a great house and location!

We had a wonderful time in Pinehurst and that was primarily due to Steve's house and his hospitality. We used the pool, pool table and fire pit and made delicious meals in the user friendly kitchen. Oh yeah, the golf around Pinehurst was excellent too! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location in the Village

Another wonderful stay in the Village at the Cottage. Steve is an excellent communicator and the property was cleaned and ready for our arrival. The pool was the centerpiece for a brutally hot week in Pinehurst and a welcome relief from playing golf in the heat. Thank you to Steve for making our stay easy and pleasurable.
