Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayJust wow! This cabin has everything you would need and more. It was the perfect getaway for my family and I to escape the Phoenix heat. This cabin is fully stocked with all your needs from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Not only was the house perfect, but the views are incredible (especially if you are a golfer!)! I wanted to bring the outside deck home with me! It was lovely to sit out there and enjoy the weather! I searched through a lot of houses in the neighborhood and I am SO glad I booked this one. We will definitely be back to enjoy this little piece of paradise! Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin… Until next time :)

A favorite for our family.

The only bad thing is that our granddaughters cry when they have to leave Sparky and big elk in the front yard . Thank you so much.

Big home for big families
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis home had everything we needed to spent Christmas with my whole family, what we liked the most was that we had the two tables side by side to have dinner all at the same time together, it was a very important feature we were looking for in a house. The house is fully equipped, the only thing we missed having and didn't want to spend money on was a mop, having the kids coming from outside with their boots full of ice and mud was not fun to deal with everytime they went out to play, I didn't feel comfortable using bathroom towels or paper towels for that. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it and stay here again.

Beautiful and spacious house
Publié le 4 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was the third time that we rented this house for our family summer vacation and we hope to rent it again. The house is updated and very comfortable. The host thought of everything we might need for the kitchen. It is an absolutely beautiful location. Would definitely recommend. As a sidenote – my twin, two year old granddaughters love Sparky and big elk in the front yard. That is the highlight for them.

Faltaron utensilios de limpieza y palas para quitar nieve.
Muy poco jabón en baños o papel sanitario.
Pero la propiedad y ubicación son de alto nivel. Muy amable y buena comunicación con la administradora

Excellent place for a family get away

The dining area was very accommodating for our group of 11. Even though it was in a neighborhood area, it was very quiet and we still felt like we were in the woods. Just an overall super great place! Highly recommend.

Gorgeous house

It’s a newly remodeled house and because we booked it to spend Christmas there, they even put up the tree and all kinds of decorations. We really felt like home…. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We rent cabins all the time and I can honestly say this one is by far our favorite. We’ll definitely coming back.

Not clean, flies and bad communication
Publié le 26 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayStayed for 3 nights for our son's wedding in the area. Had my mother-in-law and elderly family stay with us. The house was large and was located in a nice wooded area.
When we arrived the house was not fully clean. There were dead flies on various window sills, dust, and cobwebs in the ceiling. When we arrived the house had dozens of gnats and flies. When I contacted the owner it took a couple of hours for her to get back to me. She suggested using the fly swatter and keeping the doors closed. The doors were closed so not sure where they all came from and we know to keep bugs out that you need to keep windows and doors closed. Did not need to be reminded of this simple task. There were a couple of windows we could not open as several screens had holes in them. The patio door wall also had large gaps and could not keep them open. Spent a couple of hours trying to kill them all. Extremely embarrassing as we were hosting our family for the wedding.
There were not enough towels for all 8 guests we had in the house. Had to again wait about an hour for the owner to respond and get enough towels for all the guests to shower before the wedding. The owner stated they do not have any extra towels in the house and would have housekeeping bring some. The owner stated they leave 1 of each type of towel per person. We did not have even that many, and it is very odd that they do not have extra towels on hand.
On the second day as we were making breakfast casseroles for everyone, the oven stopped working. Also, we could not find dishwasher tabs. After a couple of hours, she stated they were in a little dish with a lid on the window sill. No mention that they were there in any information packets in the house.
The stairs up to the second floor needed more lighting. My spouse and father-in-law both tripped coming down at night.
Overall, the owner was very slow in responding to issues and requests. In previous rentals on VRBO, the owners would respond within a few minutes not hours.

Hi there Thomas, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Regarding the gnats and flies, I'm sorry that nature wasn't working with us over your stay and bugs showed up to the summer weather in the forest. The cleaning was done roughly about a week before your stay, so naturally any bugs may have died between and I'm sorry that was there for your arrival! Had I known right upon arrival, I would have sent housekeeping to clean up the ones that were on window sills. As far as them coming during your stay, naturally that is out of my control and as mentioned, I have never had that issue arise before, so the only thing I could think of would be to close the doors, I still can't think of a better solution. But, I will look into those screens that have holes thank you, none of us have ever noticed that before! Excluding one upstairs. My sincere apologies that the housekeeping crew made the mistake of not leaving out enough towels. I can imagine the frustration, but I'm glad it was quickly resolved when as soon as I got out of meetings and received your text, I had the housekeeper there within the approximate half hour. As I'm sure you could see, the oven is brand new, (installed at the end of 21'), so I'm shocked it stopped working and I'm so glad it hasn't effected anyone else before or after you. Very bizarre, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I also have never had an issue with someone locating the dishwasher tabs located on the windowsill above sink next to dishwasher, but that is a good idea to add that to the welcome packet, thanks! As far as the stair lighting goes, I must be honest with you, that there is no intention of adjusting that, as stairs are mentioned on the listing, there is a chandelier above staircase, and about 5-8 floor lights on the staircase, exceeding the expectations of code. But that is a good heads up to people in the future, so thank you for mentioning! Thank you again Thomas and congratulations! Sorry that Namastay was not the best fit for your group.
