Conveniently located 10 minutes from Pilot Mtn State Park, 20 Minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, 20 Minutes from Dan River, 20 minutes from Mt. Airy (Mayberry), 25 minutes to Winston-Salem. Amazing little gem!
Has the best time staying in this adorable cabin for a weekend. Close to everything we wanted to do including Jolo Winery, Mt. Airy and a wedding we were in town for. Had everything we could possibly need and want for a relaxing weekend. The mattress was also amazing! Looking forward to coming back again.

The cabin is wonderful. We ate outside the first night and it was just perfect on the back porch, quiet and wooded with no one around. We had two unusual experiences which let us know how gracious and helpful you are to your guests. That was very meaningful to us. We did sign your guestbook also.

Peaceful Getaway
It was just me for 3 Days. It was very peaceful. Only about 15-20 minutes from every place I wanted to visit. I always like to give my suggestions when staying at a VRBO. Just 3 things I would add. 1. Pull down shades on front and back porch . 2. Umbrella for picnic table 3. A couple of bird feeders on the trees out back . I noticed some Humming birds. Overall it was great for me.

Wonderful new cozy place. Location was conveniently located between Hanging Rock SP and Pilot Mountain SP so we could enjoy some hiking and kayaking on the Dan river. Everything was in great condition, with everything you might need. Nice decks on front and back to relax on.

Great Little Cabin!
My husband and I truly enjoyed the Lakota Rock Cabin. It was very clean and had all the necessary utensils and dinnerware for cooking meals. There are three nice sitting areas outside, two had tables for outdoor dining. We took advantage of that because the weather was beautiful during our entire stay. The cabin is in a perfect location for hiking trips to both Pilot Mtn S.P. and Hanging Rock S.P. Lakota Rock, which is right beside the cabin, is also worth exploring. We will definitely stay here again.

Hosts have outdone themselves in creating a cabin that’s as well appointed and new as it is cozy. Everything I wanted to visit was within a half-hour drive (Pilot Mtn, Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock), would 100% stay here again!
