Nice quiet cabin in the country
Posted May 1, 2024 on HomeAwayWe enjoyed a very nice weekend at this property. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The setting is unique in that it is remote and provides a nice pond for fishing. The owner was very nice and helpful. There were plenty of activities in the surrounding towns. Looking forward to a return trip.

Texas Tree House Getaway

I was lucky enough to book this gem by a lake during the great total solar eclipse of 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The owners, Nancy and Ron couldn't have been nicer and we made life long friends with them. By all means route your next trip through Texas by way of their place you won't be disappointed...and bring your pole, fishing on the lake is fantastic!

Thank you for telling us about the Prayer Tower downtown, it was beautiful and we definitely sent up Our Prayers.
Would definitely recommend a stay here and would like to return.

The property was quiet and peaceful. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Two things that kept this from being 5 stars: The heating unit was very loud and abrupt every time it came on. The mattress was not comfortable.

Posted Nov. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayVery comfortable, clean, and well-equipped for a memorable stay. The lake and fishing were a welcome combination of relaxation and entertainment. The host, Nancy, along with her four-legged assistants, a welcome note, cookies, and biscuits were an added treat. We hope to revisit in the future.
