Staff was really nice and helpful when there was an issue. Hotel in general is older but updated, and honestly has some cosmetic things that need fixed, but is generally pretty lovely inside.

Good Hotel but depending on location of room noisy
Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HotelsStopped for the night as travelling and passing through, was hoping for a good nights sleep. Hotel is clean and updated, very nice lobby. Were placed in room 217 by the elevators. Elevator noise was extremely loud in our room and was in constant use at all times. Initially when asked could not be moved as hotel was fully booked and they did not have earplugs on site. Travelling manager helped us to find a pharmacy close by that was still open so we left to go buy earplugs. 30db earplugs did not help with elevator noise but, they called to check in and were able to move us to another room around 11pm. we were told it was not near the elevators but still ended up somewhat near elevators and facing lobby. There were about 40-50 people in the lobby at midnight as there was a wedding and also hockey tournament in town. Was noisy but significantly better than being right beside the elevator. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Unsure if we would stay again only because there is no way to know for sure whether you will get a room near the very loud elevators and we typically check in fairly late due to travel.

Smooth check-in but the room that was booked (king bed) was not available.
