Coming to Pittsburgh but need more space than a hotel. Well, ditch the hotel or your in law's home and book this amazing home in the Squirrel Hill Neighborhood. With great access to downtown Pittsburgh, PNC Park and Heinz Field you'll love this for sporting events. Just a short 3 mile drive the Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh; so, whether your coming in for a weekend to see your college student or need a spot for graduation the Steel City Getaway will not disappoint. Don't forget to visit the Heinz History Center, Carnegie Natural History Museum or the Warhol!

This home has exceptional WIFI/Internet, solid cell service and a dedicated office, so, if you have to work from home you are covered. The Steel City getaway boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Did we say that it has a 1st Floor Master Bedroom? Yes, it does!

You will certainly enjoy the inside with large living room and open concept kitchen but be sure to check out the outside with hot tub, back yard with raised deck and gas grill! Wow!

There is 1 off-street dedicated parking spot at this home; but, there is free (first come, first serve parking) on street. Off-street parking can be a challenge, so, you might not get a spot right by the house; but, it's always free!

Guest understands that there is security "ring door bell" camera type located at the front entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress.

Great Stay
Stayed here over a long weekend for a hockey tournament. We commuted to Ice Castle in Castle Shannon at various times of day and it was very reasonable. Neighborhood was quiet and clean. Driveway parking available which we used and had to park an additional vehicle on the street. No issues finding parking. Backyard was fully fenced and clean. Would be super cute in the Spring-Fall time. Salt and shovel were available for us as well as a couple of space heaters should we needed them. I would have liked a few more spare blankets as we all tend to run cold. I would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Great weekend away
Four colleagues in Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the house which has a great backyard with hot tub, BBQ and picnic table. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very good although some of the cookware should be updated. Explanations were thorough. Overall, definitely 5 star stay

The house was great. I was worried about parking but it really wasn’t a problem with the one parking spot and street parking right in front. The hot tub had an issue but I emailed the contact person and it was handled almost immediately.

Cozy and a Convenient Location
Overall, we had a great stay. It's well stocked and very cozy. Wish the primary bedroom had nightstands and lamps, and the living room had a better couch and seating but it was a nice place and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Had an issue with the living room TV being too old to stream without hooking it up to a laptop which was inconvenient, although the manager did try to fix it to no avail. There are a lot of stairs up to the front door, and the street is crowded with cars, but had a parking space so that didn't affect us. It was a great location to the waterfront district and Pitt University! 5 stars if they fix the LR TV!

Perfect dog-friendly getaway
Convenient, comfortable spot for a Christmastime stay with our nephew and our dog! We loved cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, hanging out in the hottub, and watching Christmas movies by the glow of the gas fireplace. Be warned, there are steep concrete steps to get to the front door, but once you're inside, it's a wonderful house. It was great to have two bathrooms and comfy beds for everyone (me, hubby, and our adult nephew). We hope to return next year!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. Close enough to Pittsburgh but in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean, communication great, and had everything we needed for the family and our trip. Will definitely book again.

The location is perfect for visiting Pitt & vicinity. I was impressed with how perfect this house is set up for all ages. Safe and fun for the littles, plus plenty of space and amenities for adults.

Nice Place Overall
Took a weekend trip to Pittsburgh. Was two couples and our dogs. The house provided everything we needed. Plenty of space. Bedrooms did only have queen beds. Would recommend upgrading to kings, especially in the downstairs master. Two full baths. Having one on each level was nice. The fenced in area was nice for the dogs and provided privacy from the neighbors. Only negative was the fence did not connect to an interior door so we did have to use a leash or carry our dogs to the fenced area. Not much yard space but we were able to walk our dogs in the neighborhood. Hot tub was great. Management company was very responsive to a few questions we had before arriving. Check in was very easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Went down for a pirates game with my son and father. The property and neighborhood was nice. Felt safe. I highly recommend going to Pittsburgh for anything. It's a great City. Hometown feel with a big City vibe. Just a few things I would improve about the house would be definitely a bigger comfortable couch. Wasn't very relaxing to sit on and it was very small. Also I wish they just had cable TV. The fire stick was kind of annoying to use and couldn't watch any live sports. We really wanted to watch the pirates game on Friday night. Other than that I would definitely stay there again!

This house was amazing. Location to downtown made getting into the city super easy. The home was clean and had a great set up. The neighbor was safe and quiet. I will definitely be booking here if I ever find myself heading back to the Steel City. Highly recommend

Excellent place to stay for family vacation
We stayed here for a family wedding and to (re)-explore town. It was just as expected! Clean, gates at top of both staircases, great quality washer/dryer/dish-washer. Toys downstairs for kids to play with, and a high chair. We didn't end up using the TVs but there were plenty! It's a remodeled version of the cookie-cutter former steel worker houses. We would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Lovely home!
Beautiful home. Very clean and comfortable. Nice neighborhood and good location. Very responsive host. The bathtub drain stopper was broken and David came the next day to fix it so we could give our baby her bath. We would definitely stay here again!
