Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayA good place to stay, close to things to do. Parking was free however it was on the street, wished that had been mentioned in description. Stovetop & microwave needed some attention. Was just a block off a busy, late night favorite street, not a problem, we just stayed in! Pittsburgh is a clean city with friendly people. Enjoyed our stay!

Carson Street Manor - Exceptional

The house is lovely, well appointed with a great layout and convenient access to everything. The interior is gorgeous, very clean, and provided space to spend time together as well as privacy for those who wanted it. It is a great location for participating in the nightlife and dining on and around Carson Street, with great access to all the fun things Pittsburgh has to offer. The furry convention was in town so we were able to experience some of that too, along with fireworks in many different directions. The beds were comfy, and the bed linens and towels were great. The check out requirements were simple, straightforward, and logical, unlike many other VRBOs I have experienced around the country. Highly recommend Carson Street Manor and the host. Communicating with the host was quick and easy, he was very responsive. Applying for the digital parking permit was quick and easy and we had a response the same day from the variance group for the Pittsburgh Parking Authority. Our party was 4 adults, all of whom lived in Pgh. Everyone agreed this will be our first choice of rentals each time we come back to visit. There is a king bedroom with an ensuite on the first floor for anyone with mobility issues. There is also a half bath on the first floor which is very convenient. Fabulous place and location!!!

A lovely stay

Ideal location for us to walk to our concert venue at night and then to breakfast the next morning. All necessary amenities are provided. We enjoyed our morning coffee outside on the deck and wished we needed to stay another night! Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Southside!
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had 9 in our group - adults and teens. A lot of thought went into the comfort of this house. The bedrooms had blackout blinds and noise machines, and the mattresses were very comfortable. It’s a busy area with an active nightlife, but we had no issues with noise disturbing our sleep. We made dinner and breakfast—the kitchen met all our needs. Check in/out was a breeze. We found street parking right in front of the house for two cars both nights. The parking permit process was very simple. One thing to note is that there isn’t an ideal spot to gather for games or cards inside. We did so on the patio, and the weather cooperated which was perfect. We all commented that we would love to come back to spend more time at the many shops and restaurants nearby.

Great house!
Publié le 29 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat house in Southside. Very close to Carson St. neighborhood was nice and walkable to restaurants, grocery store. House was very clean. Parking was easy to get permit for our stay. Most of time found parking in front of house but if we got home later had to park a few blocks away which wasn’t a big deal. Few suggestions for house: shower caddy in master bathroom to hold shower supplies and hangers for the closets. There also was not enough silverware for the house. We only had 4 people staying in house but if we had more people then it would have been a problem. There were only 5-6 forks and 5-6 spoons total. I’m sure there used to be more so owner may not be aware. House was otherwise well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, keurig pods etc. Would definitely stay again. Very nice house!!
