A decent and clean room with a semi-comfortable mattress in a rougher part of town that didn’t feel entirely safe. Clueless service with staff members hovering awkwardly or approaching suddenly in a creepy way. Not very helpful and not available when needed. Smoking allowed very close to guest rooms. A negative experience overall.

We are located in the heart of Placencia village - NOT in a rougher part of town. I'm a little shocked by the review regarding location. Clearly, you don't know Placencia very well.Our staff are very attentive and not clueless - as you stated. You only spent 1 night at the resort. We have a 24-hour front desk - again a little surprised that no one was available - there is a doorbell for guest convenience. We make sure every guest has an exceptional experience.

The room was not an ocean front view as it was advertised as it was a pool view. It was a long walk to parking on the street that was not convenient. The room was great in that it had high end furniture, fixtures, etc.

The room was advertised as Oceanview not oceanfront however we did change it to pool view even though it truly is ocean view/pool view. As far as the 3 min or less walk to the hotel, we feel that the trade off of being right on the beach is much more appealing then being on the main road with car access and shorter walk. Thanks for reviewing us.

Amazing beachfront property in the heart of Placencia. Staff was great and we would recommend staying here if you are going to Placencia. Tons of food and drink options around!
