Publié le 2 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayOur bungalow was perfect for us. Everything we needed, and the bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows. Also loved the shower. Mark was so helpful with anything you needed! He is still working on making it even better with having bikes available and maybe even corn hole!! (our suggestion).

Thanks for appreciating our efforts. Mark takes into consideration what he would like when visiting our little Boutique Resort. Individual bike storage bins have been build with his and her bikes soon available. Snorkeling gear is available per Bungalow. Out door foot showers will be built during off season to replace the water foot trays. Thanks for any and all comments. Corn Hole on the way - that's an easy one. Hope to see you back soon.

Busy road but great beach

A little piece of heaven
Publié le 13 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayWhat an amazing oasis right on the beach! The breeze is constant off the Caribbean Sea so you absolutely do not need air conditioning!!! Supplies and restaurants are within walking distance. We had a car and enjoyed traveling to Placencia. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!!!

Paradise Found
Publié le 28 août 2018 sur HomeAwayBarnacle Bill's is a little slice of paradise. Simple, well considered accommodation in a wonderful setting on the shores of the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
Bill and Adrianne were the perfect hosts, helpful but not intrusive and accommodating to the needs of my 10 year old daughter and 80 year old father, both of whom thoroughly enjoyed their holiday.
Placencia is a great place; friendly people, beautiful scenery and lots to do - without being overly touristy.
We shall return.

Unplugged and relaxed...... it was amazing...
Publié le 23 mai 2018 sur HomeAwayIf you are looking to unplug, relax and just enjoy your surroundings, this is the perfect spot. Bill and Adriane were great hosts! They got us pointed in the right direction for a snorkeling tour and suggested local restaurants to visit. The bungalows are just as described, they have everything you need. We stayed a week and had plenty of towels, beach towels, linens etc. We were a little concerned about no air conditioning but it was not an issue. There is always a breeze from the ocean; with two ceiling fans and a floor fan we were comfortable. The local restaurants and general store are all just a short walk away. We were able to snorkel right at our beach and also at an island that took us about 20-30 minutes to kayak to from our beach. We are already talking about when we go back!

Bungalow with tropical flavor steps from the water

Only negative was the beach grass making swimming off the beach difficult, but this problem is universal all over the island. Great restaurants within walking distance and fortunately we had a car to go on several excursions.. Bill and Adriane were very helpful. We would stay here again.

The Bungalow we rented hit the spot and was just what we wanted for a quiet getaway.
Publié le 19 mai 2018 sur HomeAwayBarnacle Bills was a great escape from the US, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the plants that are left on this lot versus other areas we noticed nearby that are cleared completely. It leaves you with the feeling you're in the jungle but on the coast. There were not many places in the area like this that are stripped of native plants and trees. Furthermore, Bill and Adrianes hospitality was wonderful. I would definitely consider coming back but as first time to Belize this was fabulous!
