Never again. It was my 2nd time staying at La Casa de La Playa, but we regret coming back. The terrace in each hotel room is small and stacked with fragile decorations. When I was getting out of the pool, I slipped and accidentally touched the edge of a small decoration piece, which then fell apart. My finger also got a cut. The hotel staff asked us what happened to the piece with a tough attitude, and then charged us $1414.35 USD, which seems much more than how much it actually costs. My partner and I were very upset.

This was our second stay at CDLP. While they have removed some appreciated perks and special experiences, the butler service is even better than before. Kiyoshi and Guillermo were phenomenal as well as the bartenders and friendly faces at the restaurant. Having said that, BEWARE OF MEXICO DESTINATION CLUB. Even at CDLP they are deceptive beginning with salesperson all the way to the manager.

The absolutely most luxurious experience ever. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the amenities available on the property, down to the level of service provided by the staff is on another level and is unbeatable. This is an experience like no other- a literal slice of heaven on earth. Shout out to Frida for making our time here just that more special.
